Hello All. Any Thoughts Welcome.

Well... Im 44 years old (I've professed for a long time i was born way too late in the century. My ideals and beliefs just don't seem to coincide well with "normal" social expectations) snd about to start another new chapter in my life. During a span of time between the mid '90s and early 2000s it had occurred to me that i had a strong urge to just load up and head West from WI. Well, I've been in OH. (yes I know, I went the wrong way) for a couple of months now and decided that the time has come to take that leap and stop dreaming about it. BEFORE the snow starts to fly.
I have no exact destination in mind (I'm seriously considering N.M.). I've been doing research on the commune scene in the states and ran across this site hoping to make some connections with like minded, non judgemental, free spirited people who possess the wanderlust that I have been suppressing for entirely too long. Maybe get some feedback, suggestions, well wishes? Hell I don't know, but I did it anyways. Maybe I'll meet some cool people, maybe I'll get some tips on cool places to check out along my path. Either way this site did pique my interest. So,I found someone to hang onto my vinyl collection and some art items, selling the chaff ("if you own a rug you own too much") loading my bike with what clothes, camping gear and toiletries I can carry and head West from Cinci area to N.M. (I think). Any thoughts? Have I finally lost my mind? *shrug*

I've seriously considered something like that. Just one more year and I can finally legally leave!

Having hope is a great thing. I really do hope you find your path, and soon, because it's easy to allow the universe to put things in place for you, without all of the work/effort usually required to function in today's day and age. (With technology, the media, brainwashing, thinking about all of this...) It's easy to get overwhelmed, most people do. And by doing so they miss out on the intricacies of the seemingly mundane, like...boring, rhythmic, cyclic, mumbo jumbbo...that normally slows, us down. But, quickly realize your potential to really understand the universal laws that are really common sense to those who use their senses uncommonly.

Are you looking for a warmer, less familiar environment? Something, comfortable...perhaps? I'm just thinking aloud here, obviously lol.
