the one thing about this heat wave...nights have been pretty cool and breezy

 

Nothing feels more like summer than being able to stay outside til midnight in a t-shirt (at least in the netherlands)

 

I remember the summers of 05 and 06 there, walking down the street in Nijmegen in the middle of night with a t-shirt on and sweating!

Could do with some more weather like that, I think I am more suited to hot climates. Some people in Scotland don't like it, usually the ginger ones.

 

It isnt very warm in the Netherlands these days...

try coming to the american south, where in the late summer it hovers in the upper 90s at night with the air so thick with humidity that it makes it hard to breathe. No one is suited for this kind of humidity...fucking humidity. I have such a love/hate relationship with this shit.

 

It was 104 here today! That shit was so hot the a/c in the car wouldn't cool good.

im glad i decided to hibernate until 7ish..the temp of my skin, especially on my face still felt like it was boiling up a little at first o_o that's fucked

Cracking weather in Scotland now, not exactly a heat wave but settled, but cloudy still but getting a nice tan burn outside in the back. Looks set to continue into the week but for how after? I'm going to summon the wolf spirit within me and ask the weather gods to grant us an Indian summer.
