Went to check out the cardiology team after seeing your pics.
Dr Derrick Todd's pic looks like an actor having a publicity shot taken!
Sure are a lot of doctors. They had better take good care of your precious heart, my friend.
Your surgeon reminds me of Dr House on TV...or would, I think if you take away the specs and the smile!
I was in the hospital at the start of this pandemic, for pneumonia as well as edema and heart failure.
Came out ok but, oh Lord-- how I hated that COVID19 nasal swab test!
Felt as though they were digging for a brain sample.
Keep the faith, brother.
I actually emailed the hospital's head nurse (Can't remember her name) and told her to make sure you had the prettiest nurses to cheer you up!
I saw too that they had renamed the local airport after John Lennon. When did that happen?

It is Mr. Mark Pullan who is doing the surgery.

PS.
The airport name was changed around 20 or more years ago.

I down for surgery due to start around 9.30am and is due to last around 7/8/9hours.
That’s if all goes well.
If there are any Complications?
Only God knows!

The surgeons only have me booked for surgery tomorrow.
Nobody else!

It is 6.50am now here in the U.K. and am going down for surgery soon which will start to happen around 9.00am I understand and will take around 7 hours give or take an hour depending on how things are going on.
I will post here just as soon as I can all being well.
Again thank you all for your interest and support here.
This has cheered me up no end and given me extra faith I will come through this.

Yes, so I'm told...but if that's so, why is it that as time marches on, MY health declines?
I am beginning to wonder!
But I sent Kenny an ecard when I got up, and Christina says she will let me know as soon as she can.
I will come back to share the news.
Kenny is a sweetheart and everybody loves him.

 

I expect his wife is with him.
Not heard yet.

 

Got an email from her!
She says the operation went well and that he is stable.
She appreciates our support and thanked me.
She will update me when he is more awake.
Our Kenny came through the operation well, though, and thanks to God for that!
