    How cold is that, Brother?
I'm that sorry you seem to be having a setback and will pray for you right away.
We need you here, and cannot bear to see you wind up back in the hospital

I was there through January and February of 2020 with pneumonia myself.
Please take good care of yourself![/QUOTE

    A happy looking group!
    I know you're a gentleman, Brother.
Not a doubt in my mind. You have our temperature beat, but barely.
It's 38 degrees here right now. No wind to speak of.
    You keep bundled up, Brother!
    Stay safe and warm.
    Going to cook now.
    TTYL!

    Thank you Gal. XXX
This keeps the thread going, and I want to be able to look back on it in future years while I am in my wheel Rocking Chair!
Yes I will always keep those favourite pictures of one of the most lovely weekends in my whole life.:)
I was like a pig in poo being with them, and it was a privilege for me that they placed their faith in me looking after the four of the.
    Happy as Larry I was

Wifey and I went out for a 5,000 step walk just along the promenade and back.
It wasn’t quite so cold and there was only a little wind so that was fine and I do feel quite a lot better today.

Tonight it is Football time for me watching Brighton V Arsenal and Manchester United V Wolves (Come on Wolves).
Other games as well on Amazon Prime if I wish.
Wifey will be watching what she wants on her own telly situated in the Dining Room part of our open plan Living Room/Dining Room/Kitchen.
She wears noise cancelling head[phones, so she can’t hear my football.
The arrangement works just lovely! :)

Have a lovely evening yourselves please..

    Kenny

    Glad to hear it!
    You're making me jealous, though.
Wish I had a wheelchair that rocked!
Then I could rock AND roll!
    Take care, Brother.

Well Hi Special Angel Sister
Of course I am not wishing to try to make anyone jealous, and it is certainly not my intention to brag in any way shape or form.
I am a ‘like it is’ kind of person who just tells it like it is.
    That’s it.

You caught me just as I am on my way to the shower.
I just HAVE to have a shower and then get in my comforts for the evening.
It makes me feel fresh and good.

I actually have speakers set up just outside the bathroom, and I am listening to my music while in the shower, while the same music is here in the living room for Chris.
At the moment it is Country and WesternCrazy by Patsy Cline, and now playing is North To Alaska by Johnny Horton and just started Devil Woman by Marty Robins.

Will Catch up with you all later after me evening meal and football. :)

    Take care yourselves :)

Crazy for thinking that my love could hold you
    I'm crazy for trying
    Crazy for crying
    And crazy for loving you.
Reminds me of an old friend, now dead, that made those words apply to me.
You know I'm kidding you about the chair, I hope. I always joke about my wheelchair. I imagine it's a coping mechanism.
I'll risk adding that I'm jealous of your shower!
Haven't had a proper shower since the end of February! We need one of those step in showers and a plastic wheelchair like they had in the hospital.
Maybe someday! For now, it's sponge bath every day, hair wash twice a week in the sink. It keeps me clean and that's really all that matters.
I like country music, but only the old stuff.

So, off to your food and fun!
You know II love you, Brother!

Half time on Arsenal game 0-0.
Being a Scouser I will always try and joke and have banter about almost anything Sister.
    Even your wheelchair.
    But you be careful Momma.
    You hear?

    Always am, Brother!
Once on a senior bus trip, went to a restaurant; they brought out a collapsible ramp-- it collapsed! I was flat on my back, wheelchair and all. It was my chance to say a line--in public-- that I'd wanted to say for YEARS!
DID I SAY IT?I did not.
My leg and stump were up in the air and no underwear(I never wear it)!
    Thus I failed to say:
    I've fallen and I can't get up!
Wonder if I'll ever have a chance like that again. If it does...

I very much doubt that Angel Sister, so I wouldn’t worry about it!

And a very good Wednesday to all HIP Members.
It has been badly hail-stoning here and it’s bloody cold...

I have only just got back from going up to Doctors Surgery to have my blood INR checked, and it is 2.7.
Being on Warfarin I have to be between 2-3 INR, so pretty good really

You can look in on our LIVE CCTV cameras hailstones if they haven’t gone by now.

That is not uncommon following heart surgery, all sorts of things can happen as the sutures heal.
Both walking and cold increase your heartbeat, so taking it easy with a warm drink was a wise decision.

During any recovery, other parts of your body are more open to infection, so if you still feel concerned give the hospital a call. The last thing that you need is a lung infection.

Take it easy and enjoy some television.
    Wills.

Your doctors are certainly looking after you well and keeping you well educated to help in your recovery.
If only all health authorities were as caring and competent.

Thank you Will for your obviously very good advice.
I did the walk that cold 3c and windy day because I am determined to try and do at least 5,000 steps a day.
In bold there your well meant advice is certainly something I should take serious notice of.
It’s no good doggedly trying to do 5,000 steps no matter what the weather, only for that stupidity to lead to me being in a coffin and walking absolutely no steps!
A Lung infection will likely see me off! :weary:

I must admit that regarding general care both from Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital and our local Health Authority.
Overall Will, I am quite pleasantly surprised and gob smacked.
    Well done them!:)

    But then.
Ever since we moved to Wales 17 years ago my Wife and I have had excellent service from all the health services here.

As noted by the great Bob Dylan, "EVERYBODY must get stoned"...
Glad your dear heart is in good hands, Brother.
