Most of us know each other well enough to know who our REAL friends are and accept our differences of opinions from time to time.

I never bother about the friends and follower symbols, they are far to complicated and can lead to people feeling left out when it is not true.

I think that HF is one of the best sites on the planet, particularly the way that Skip and his merry men see us as real people, rather than just making the rules.

 

I can see that among many other of the wonderful members on this wonderful forum, we have an understanding of what REALLY makes everything tick around here.
I have made plenty of praise towards Skip and his merry Men previously that I could be accused of being a brown nose.

But in the past, including on the last forum Candy Gal and I were on, the admin really did not have a clue, and her and I more or less told them so as well.
That is why we ended up here.
Candy Gal found this place, asked me to join her here.
So here I am!

But I always take as I find.
And I find the overall situation on HIP Forums just as you describe.

 

I remember the evening when a guy was stupid enough to make a crude and insulting suggestive comment to one of our regular female members when Skip was online.
He went 'zap' in less than 5 seconds. Obviously Skip was following him, rather than fussing about you or I bending a minor rule.

 

Yes and I particularly like the way that Trolls get very short shrift around here.
Zen has a nose radar for those sort of people, and Trolling is not allowed here in any way shape or form.
I remember Zen saying in a post that the first part of his time on the forum in the morning is seeing what ‘nutters’ and miscreants and spam bots have been active.
If any.
And any who have tried to join get very short shrift.

God people.
I seem to have taken a couple of steps backwards today.
Since my Mitral Valve heart operation every day has seen an improvement in me general health.
Not today though!
We went out for our usual promenade walk but we had to turn back half way through.
It was only 3c degrees and a bit windy so I felt that in my lungs.
This even with me EVERTON Mask on.
Just had some breakfast and am warming up watching the Crystal Palace v Leicester football game..
Everton kick off at 8.00pm this evening playing Manchester City.

Winning that one will cure all me ailments!

 

It is very cold at the moment, that's not good for you I'm sure though a little exercise is.

I'm a Chelsea fan & we have the 5.30 kick off playing Villa.

I hope we are better than we were 2 days ago against Arsenal. I had barely finished booing "the knee" when we nearly went a goal down, and it didn't get any better till the last 5 minutes when it was too little too late.

 

I am actually watching the game on Prime TV VFC, and I am using my 12.9” IPad Plus to communicate with you as the game plays out.
30 minutes played up up now and I am enjoying it although no goals yet.

The EVERTON game has been cancelled, and should have been on Prime with 8.00pm kick off.

I am hoping this game plays out a drew so they only get 1 point each!

Yes that taking the knee lark gets on my arse as well.

Please don't get me going on it!
