I have a pair of Sony earbuds that I like alot. They only cost me like 20 bucks and they fit around my ears so they stay in. I've bought two pairs so far, and next time I need some I'll look for them.
both of your comments show personal preference sometimes, cheap is great when some of them have good sound i think when i am gardening i will stick to cheap ones i would be very pissed off to slice an expensive pair as to getting "quality" earhones they have to be budgeted for bills first boring domestic bit some of my hobbies cost $$$$ i will still keep my eyes open for a bargain for my ears
If you have a decent stereo-system a $400 AKG K701 or Sennheiser HD650 will give you the quality of a ridiculously expensive speaker system and you don't have to worry about room-accoustics at all however,for portable use I find cheap earbuds more enjoyable ,an enormous soundstage and too much detail in the music is distracting if I have to focus on other stuff.
