Ben Stokes is a WORLD CHAMPION sports player.

He is up there with Gary Lineker and Johnny Wilkinson.

Its Test Cricket though, you couldnt invent a more boring sport if you tried

....well except golf, and that doesnt go for 5 days, one round anyway

I almost fell asleep typing that

I can't tell you how much I wish I'd seen it on tv. Or even better, at the ground itself.

Whilst not wishing to detract from an excellent display, - It was an exciting conclusion - "one swallow does not a summer make".
The Aussies were without Smith, there almost a Run out that could have changed the result and 'once again' we are up against the wall.
When we go into bat again today - 2 down already and a lotta runs to win - Ben Stokes (and others!!) need to replicate the previous, with another match-winning innings if we are to make any celebrations
However, one must 'keep the Faith"

it's like you're intentionally trying to hide what sport he plays.

then VG said it was cricket, and i understand why.

I wasn't trying to hide anything. The link I posted is on the cricket page of the BBC website. I posted it in the UK forum, and those from the UK have probably heard of the Ashes competition between England and Australia in the sport of cricket, which is the most famous international contest in cricket, certainly over here anyway.
