Hi guys, im trying to make my own language and i want to know if anyone here has made there own language
I've been looking at Bigfoot language that's been transcribed from field recordings . It's not unfamiliar to me . Yesterday my interest was 'sandwich words' , like ah'd'ah and oo'k'oo . Mom ? opeNope . O!O
I have the 24 Elder Futhark runes in my own 3 row alphabet of sorts. When I branch rune them while inscription, only I and whoever knows my alphabet code can decipher them. Only me and my girl at this time, know this code.
Conlang iz a very interesting group of language designers . The elemental theory of language I play with has every phoneme a morpheme . Since longer words are just associative meanings , the order of phonemes in a word can be just random for all anyone cares . Elodin as a word in that language may translate as ' lizard on a warm rock ' .
Check out Esperanto, Moonfox. It is a made up language that was ment to be a universal language. Disclaimer: I didn't made it up (nor speak it).
i haven't put a lot of work into it, but the planetary language of lananara has a definate structure to it. terms like nalanuthu, meaning way or path in the mountains, exist. thenag een lananara, jzhutho een ajzha jzhutho een ajha; neesh een ajzha jzhutho een lananara, translates as: themnax of lananara, low person of the council of low persons of the universe, and symbol of the council of low persons of lananara. which basically means lananara's ambassador to a kind of galactic united nations. it also has its own alphabet and script. i created it at least partially for a kind of role playing game i was interested in creating at the time, along with fantasies of literary pursuit. certain kinds of words have a certain number of syllables and so on. this makes it possible to role them up using tables of consonants and vowels and role playing dice, or a random number based computer program which i wrote back in spagetti basic days. which may give you some kind of an idea how long ago that was.
doesn't mean you shouldn't either. just about every fantasy writer worth beans has, and nearly as many science fiction writers as well. just because anyone did anything doesn't mean anyone else HAS to. but it sure don't mean anyone shouldn't.
I actually created a language of five. The most recent one is named "Lam`Ichorian". Greetings = A`Boued How are you? = Om`Shaoo (double oo, pronounced as oh oh) Goodbye = Bhu`gov Let me know if you need any help!
Hey ! It's important to present a pronunciation key if you won't depict the words obviously . oh - guh - lay - lah is a style seemingly readable in reference to standard keyboard English . It's a sound like the a in fat that I feel a need to notate . I'll write it like this .a. . A key can be very minimal . .a. short a Q oo as in cool x s as in fusion In English , neither Q or X or C has its own sound . Qch !
