I too, am not convinced a soul mate only equates a romantic relationship. Sometimes you meet people who just understand and accept you as is...and the 'click' is effortless
Thanks for sharing this - you are very lucky - not all of us are lucky enough to find our soul mate...
I found mine 49 years ago, we have our ups and downs like every one else, I get it when ever I can and want, she goes down on me when she wants to, been that way from the start, mind you she nearly went solo? she has a Greek doctor to thank for that.
I love that feeling when you meet someone (friend or otherwise) who you just know is part of your "tribe" so to speak. It's so rare and so lovely.
Never, in your life? I mean there is a reason I said it was rare, so I relate in a way. You might meet 100 people and only 1 or 2 of them are your people.
So do you consider like-minded people your soulmate? I'm curious as to how people define soulmate. I've met many people i've interacted well with but our mindset and priorities were very different so there was never any real connection beyond that. An ex-lover would come close but she lied so many times even about being single, that i don't know what to believe anymore despite the feelings i have.
