lol...to tell the absolute truth, no car I've driven since 1997 has had weed smoked in it. I've ridden with a couple of other people since then that have smoked, but not me, or anybody, in a car I have. :bobby: One of my Major Problems has been getting caught in a car with weed...several times.
I have gotten several really nice jobs on craigslist. I've never bought or sold anything there, I'm a little leery of that. In the right situation, I'd give it a go.
I got my current roomer on CL. He's been at my place for ~ 5 years, so ya' gotta admit, it works well at times. Just replied today to a guy who was looking for a room. Haven't heard back yet. Either way, it's cool. Had lots of sex via CL, though I have to admit, nothing recently and really got screen, weeding out the flakes. And, yeah, there are a lot of weirdos. Good for my ego, "And I thought I was sick."
I found the house I'm currently renting on CL. I almost bought a full set of weights for cheap once, but the dude kept suggesting we meet for dinner or coffee to make the exchange. I backed out on the deal, lest I end up in a hole in his basement getting lotion lowered to me in a basket.
i've looked at it once in a while. i've never actually transacted ON it. my housemates have a bunch of stuff they bought from people who advertised on there. bought or in most cases they were freebees. i use it to check what by owner stuff is going for. but i've never actually bought anything as a result. nor sold anything that way either. i think i was part of a yard sale once that was advertised on there, but i think that was about it. i don't use pay pal, i don't use credit, and i don't very often buy stuff over the net.
craigslist is a pretty good place to look for rental houses. I found my current house on it. I'm all about freecycle.org too. My rental house, coincidentally, does not have much storage space so I use it to give stuff away quite frequently to make room for more stuff. I tried job hunting on craigslist once but I came across too many scams so I haven't used it since. I think the general rule for job hunting on craigslist is that if the job description is extremely vague and the pay is entirely too high, its probably a scam, otherwise it should be legit.
havent used Craigslist lately, I am trying to curb that kind of stuff right now..dont get me wrong, I love Craigslist, but right now I need the direct interaction with individuals and do not want the computer to be my medium..
I use it all the time to get rid of stuff. Sell or give away. I think once I bought some kind of kid item on there. This bread reminded to post an ad for a tv and lamp that I no longer need. Now I must try and find bunk beds.
