There is a thing called "cold room therapy"

    There are 2 rooms.

Where I went (in Istanbul), first room is at a temperature of -56°C. You get ready in this room, then you enter the second room, which is at a temperature of -110°C.

I tried cold room once 2 and half years back and I could stay 40 seconds at -110°C.

The thing was my heart started to beat too fast and I got scared of having a heart attack when I was at -110°C.

I've experienced nearly -45C (-49 Fah) in real world conditions, way back in the 1990's. It was bad enough that I certainly don't wanna try something over twice as worse.

I remember a guy who refused to believe that it was impossible to chill an object to minus 274 degrees centigrade.

The problem is more of a feeling like heaving a heart attack than freezing.

I could stay just 40 seconds at -110°C for that reason.

Cold Room Therapy, also called cryotherapy, is pseudoscience. There is no evidence that it treats anything.

"...despite claims by many spas and wellness centers to the contrary, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not have evidence that WBC effectively treats diseases or conditions like Alzheimer’s, fibromyalgia, migraines, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, stress, anxiety or chronic pain."

Exactly, At minus 273 centigrade (zero Kelvin) their is no heat energy to remove.
Some scientists believe that zero Kelvin is wrong, but they are talking about thousandths of a degree.

But they were rooms (2 rooms) that I entered. Not like these.

Let me show a youtube video about where I went.

    First room is at -56°C
    Second room is at -110°C

when i worked in resteraunts we had a walk-in. a room sized refrigerator. littlerally most resteraunts of any size have one. with like a refrigerator kind of door only full door sized, and a room almost as big as the rest of the kitchen, inuslated and refregerated you entered through it. that's the only kind of "cold room" i know anything about.

other then like the room where you live in the winter time if it gets colder then your heater can keep up with.

Um. Were you passing a selection to become the first man on Mars ?
Anyway, this sure was an interesting experience. Must have been... cool. Seriously, I'm curious. Never heard of such a therapy , pal.

My mansion can get down to 9 C° during winter also due to all those marble floors I guess but that doesn't matter, I'm a furnace. I only light up the chimneys and the heating while holding parties. But this winter has been crazy with day temps in excess of 18 C° , it is clear that something is going on. Hell, once snow was a thing here and now i'm going through winter in a cotton shirt. I'm starting thinking I could take the bike and go swimming in the sea, water is warmer than the air.

I am interested in extreme temperatures.

40 seconds is all I could do at -110°C.

-56°C is pretty relax but -110°C is very scary.

And Most of my body is naked inside.

You go in with a short on you, plus your foot, hands, face, ears are covered. Aside from them, you are naked.

The man on the video went in without face cover but normally they make you cover it but what they give is just like a light paper. Nothing serious.

  20. Science has no say where mentality is concerned. A cold, cold room could completely change one man's life and do nothing for another. It may not cure diseases, but that isn't everything. A mentality can also cure a disease. Ever hear of the placebo effect?
