Old forumer here. I met Holly, who went by HippieFreak or something like that (was married to Monosphere or something along those lines, also a forumer.) I had a layover in Seattle while flying back from Alaska and she suggested that we should meet up.

It was an odd experience. She had her baby in the car with her, and kept on fucking with the screaming child while driving and not looking at the road... her apartment (and vehicle) were horribly filthy, to a point that even a college-aged me found disgusting. We smoked some real good weed outside on a park bench, and I got beyond baked... haven't smoked for a month prior. I took a piss in the ocean and I think she found that odd. We ate at Denny's and she dropped me off back at the airport.

It was, all in all, an odd and unpleasant experience. I should have known better though and met someone more deserving. She did pay for the Denny's, so that's a plus.

I don't mind, but the powers-at-be apparently still do, even after many years. Old hippies sure do hold grudges.

 

I can understand being a bit put off by a filthy car and apartment. However, she picked you up, got you super high, paid for your meal, and gave you a ride back. Perhaps the problem was not that she was undeserving, but that you were ungrateful.
