Have You Ever Met Up With Anyone From Hipforums?

In the 5 years I've been active an inactive, I've never met anyone on here. Have you?

I've been active in other forums a long time ago. I was part of a cannabis forum where I met up with some people from that forum. That website was taken down by the Canadian mounted police and I sort of lost contact with them. It was actually kind of fun to talk to them about the dramas and chaos that happened on that forum. I'm sure it would be kind of fun to meet up with some people on here too.

 

i have not, and i've been here a lot longer than 5 years.

there's a few now i wouldn't mind meeting, and there were many more in the past, but generally none of them live anywhere near me.

Yah I've met about 10 people or so from here, only 2 of them that I know of are still regularly active on the site.

Morrow ( we met on another forum Meet up ) Will probably see her again for a catch up coffee chat

Porkstock41 is the only current member I've met (and got completely blazed with) in person, but I haven't seen him around the forums for a while.

A few others I have talked on the phone with or texted with.

When I first landed in the world of Singleness, I ventured out into internet madness. Oh good gracious... what an education. Sooo many scammers and wackaloons out there. One guy wanted to move here without even meeting me. He had a schoolbus that he said he'd convert to his house if I could help him with the cost of running electricity and water and internet access. Well.. gee... lemme just think about that.

Another wanted money for his sister's surgery. Idjits think a farmer has money. I'll bet a lot of women fall for this crap, though.

There are a few nice folks on this site that I enjoy talking to and they appear to be moderately normal... but I'm just fine with never meeting them. Too much crazy in the world.
