Have you ever been put on hold for so long you forgot who you're calling?

It's going to happen to me someday soon, I'm sure.

 

hahaha--yup. Happened to me once or twice.

 

I rang Microsoft Support once and was on hold for over half an hour. Then they just cut me off without answering. I had to laugh.

Another time I was on hold to a power company without realising I was so stoned I'd lost the power of speech. When they answered, I just said 'er, arhh, umm urrgh' for about half a minute and they cut me off as well.

 

One a' mine was an attempt to buy something---I was on hold and my mind wandered off and when the person answered--I said -who's this.? He said--you called me--who's this? I hung up.

 

I've waited in bed drunk and forgotten who the person getting back into bed was, lol.

 

i can understand why it happens. "put more men on the job"
fuck greed. there's a bottomer line then the accumulation of symbolic value: the kind of world we all have to live in.
government is not a bussiness, the only legitiate reason for it to exist is to offer service.

 

reality puts everyone on hold, because our species is no more its concern, then any other thing in it.
