No, it was on one of the trees lining main street of the town....

Once, I was trying to get away from someone who was a little crazy about me in the same town. I wanted to be just friends with him, and he wanted to be more, and thought he owned me, so he dragged me out of a place once...while everyone else just watched...threw me in his car and started beating me. My instincts kicked in and I pretended I was sorry....and wanted to be with him, and said please take me to 7-11 for coffee and we can talk some more...He did....and I jumped out of the car, ran in and told the people in 7-11 to call the cops. He only spent the night...less than what the tree mangler got....talk about injustice.

I was on probation numerous times.

The last time I was on probation was after court in July 2011 (from an offense that happened in Jan 2010) until Oct 2013. I was supposed to be on probation until 2018 but when I went to my p.o. appointment in Oct of 2013 my p.o. met me in the lobby w papers showing I am no longer on probation because the supreme court of PA decided that for my offense any combination of jail, house arrest AND probation cannot be longer than 6 months- and more than that is considered cruel and unusual punishment. So, that was good news. No more having to pay $50 a month supervision fees... no more having to report all the time and possible drug tests...and yes, my p.o. HAS shown up at my house.

As a matter of fact, I went to jail for 40 days because my p.o. showed up at my house (after I was on probation for longer than 6 months.... so in retrospect this pisses me off because according to the sentencing laws here now in this state, I should have been DONE w probation but nonetheless..) in the morning. There was nothing in the house I wasn't supposed to have but I had been drinking (about a 6 pack) the night before...and went to bed 2 hours earlier.... gave me a breathalyzer, which I failed (I was below legal limit but for me, being on probation and all for what I was on it for, I wasn't supposed to drink AT ALL), and I ended up getting taken to jail THAT DAY for 40 days.

So, yes, it happens and it sucks.

So glad I'm not on it anymore. (Don't drink anymore but still... .it's nice to not have some stupid babysitter telling me what I can and cannot do. I have never done well w being TOLD what to do)....

When I was a teenager and on probation it was like a joke. But they seem to get meaner the older you are.

Holy bat shit porkstock, that's kinda how my buddy got in so much shit, they almost believed him till he spoke at them and not to them. The beer on his breath wasn't an issue till they got pissed off and then it was an issue. Since she had no marks all he had to do was go to his brother's place for the night but once he said he'd probably return to go to his own bed and uttered something they let her go all over the issue and charge him even with no marks to prove it. She took him pretty badly too.
I hate women who act like that, taking advantage of a situation only to hurt someone.
I like the cops in general but some use the law for their own game and it's not right. We have had a lot of cop issues here in Canada in the past few years but the top cops are trying to fix it now that the public spoke so loudly about it after videos appeared.

never been in trouble with the law in my life and knock on my wooden head, never intend to. unless i get a wild hair up my ass to engage in civil political protest and get myself arrested for that. hasn't happened yet, but i suppose it someday could, if i live long enough to overcome my paranoia about such things and accept that the whole point of them is to make a statement BY getting arrested.
