Has anyone visited Lake Como resort?

I'm thinking of trying to book a week long visit to Lake Como in mid September. Has anyone ever been there? I'm a little bit leery of visiting Florida in September as my track record of going down there previously in July, August, and September hasn't been very good at all. Mainly due to rain. And I'm not talking about the typical summertime thunderstorm that might keep you inside for 30 minutes and then it's dry again. I've somehow managed to go down there during some unseasonable week long soaking rains.

But I am willing to give it another try and thought I would give Lake Como a try as it looks like a nice place in all of their ads in the AANR newsletter and on their website.

it's a great place, we love it. but then again we love every nude resort we visit

 

very nice place, lots to do, people were very nice to me. I will definitely go back.

 

They're running a special reduced rate during September so I booked a cabin there. Now just got to hope I don't get rained out again.

 

Despite all of the hurricanes and tropical storms I have made it down to Lake Como. I'll be here until next Saturday. It's certainly different than Caliente which I've been to and it's not far from here. Weather forecast is kind of iffy the rest of the week. Haven't been to the pool yet but I did walk down there (which is a long way from my cabin) but it was too crowded. Will probably give it another try later this afternoon.

The internet is incredibly slow here. Was stuck inside yesterday when I got here because of the rain and couldn't even watch Youtube because of the slow speeds.
