i would love to hear what it's like to take care of one...i collect seahorse stuff, and someday i'd like to have them as pets. I heard you need to take some kind of course first before taking a seahorse home to be your pet, and also that they are really expensive to buy.
Try Googling on "+seahorses +pets" and you'll get quite a few hits. You're right, it definitely doesn't look easy -if you have questions about your goldfish it's not something to jump into any time soon... I looked up a couple websites (http://www.aquarium.org/education/spotlight/Seahorses/faq_pets.htm and http://www.allaboutpetswa.com/Seahorses.htm) and it seems they're really hard pets to keep, for experienced aquarium keepers... then, of course, everyone was a beginner once so if you like them enough to do a lot of reading and invest in the right aquarium, food, etc, well, then by all means start working it
Hello. I'm not sure if you are looking for this kind of information but PBS did a fascinating program on seahorses. Here's the link: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/nova/seahorse/
