Has anyone ever met up with anyone here?

Serving at a shop is not talking. She is doing her job by serving. Aside from what I order, I will have no conversation.

You are only ordering what you will eat or drink. And she is doing her job. That is it. That's all there is to it. Counting it as talking is very stupid.

NO IT IS NOT. You are talking to a girl and she is replying, something that you are having difficulty with at a social level.
When a guy who worked for me moved into a new apartment and their was no washing machine or place to dry his clothing, he took everything to the cleaners. The girl at the shop was laughing at him arriving daily including his socks and over weeks they got chatting. The first time that I met the girl was at the guys wedding and they are still together after more than 40 years.

I was giving the shop purely as an example of how when you meet a girl in everyday life their is not a problem, so please don't go around asking every girl who serves you in the shop to marry you. In the case that I mentioned, the period between my friend taking his socks to the cleaners and the wedding was 3 years.

You have never mentioned your work situation. Nearly everyone who I know met their partner in some sort of work environment, where you see each other in your true colours.
In my 71 years, I don't know a single person who met their partner at a bar, or walking around town in a short skirt.

 

She has to.

It is her job to take food and drink orders. She is working. She is paid to take food and drink orders. I am not talking about anything else rather what I will eat and drink.

That is exactly where your problem lies.
You start friendships by being social in everyday life. The shop was only an example. Have you never encountered girls in the workplace.?

 

I've had enough talking to males all my life.

I would get beaten up trying to talk to girls outside. I am supposed to talk to people from my gender, which means ''MALES''

 

Oh I say. lol

 

Social interaction comes in many forms-the most simplistic is to engage.
