Being a Louisiana transplant I can explain. Yes there are "mudbugs " in the bayou. But they have HUGE farms here where they plant rice. After the rice is harvested the September rains come. The barometric pressure change triggers them to breed and the fields begin to hold water. Around December thr "season" starts and they set small cages about 50 feet apart to catch them. I had to Google it when I got here to see how it all works.
Soon as I win this billion bucks, I'm taking everyone on the forums that has at least a thousand posts to--------TAHITI!! (the ones with fewer posts may be able to slick-talk me into taking them.) Had a chance to meet Newo from Portland a few years ago, but I was in my turtle mode. I'm sorry I didn't meet him when he came for the Country Fair.
I don't have a thousand posts! *whine* I wanna go! Will there be cabana boys? Mai Tai's? Nevermind... I'm winning that billion myself.
So Now I Suppose We Have To Ask..........What Were YOU Doing There...????......Or More To The Point, WHO Were You Doing There...... :daisy: Cheers Glen.
i don't know, did this really happen? i did live in toledo for a while, so it's not impossible. if it's true, who are you?
I met, left Seattle for Wisconsin, and married Leprcon from here about 12 years ago. 1 dog, 3 cats, and 2 kids later, we are still happy and in love I check in on the forums every few years to see if there are any familiar faces/names.
Hopefully someday I will...raising my 15yo daughter. She homeschools with my mother. When she's finished, her and I are moving from Indiana (yuck...ok, super yuck) to Illinois. We both can't wait to leave. Then maybe I can pursue finding my Hip soulmate!!! I'm excited already, a dream come true. And I've earned it, seriously :guitarist:
