Houston Texans defensive end JJ Watt asked for donations this past weekend to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. He set a goal of $200,000. As of this afternoon, he has collected more than $11 million. Humanity is alive and well. Keep the faith.
Whatever though, my faith in humanity has been restored seeing all the pictures coming out of texas of people helping each other, of huge lines of trucks taking boats down to help out, of grown ass men pushing john boats filled with dogs they've rescued, people forming human chains to pull people from their cars Not gonna let some rude HF randos ruin that for me
The popular opinion is that poor people shouldn't reproduce. If it goes for poor Africans, why not for poor Texans
I have no idea what that has to do with the topic of this thread You do know this flood didnt just hit poor people Not that it matters. Poor or middle class or wealthy, disasters like this just show material things dont really matter in the end Is " oh well they shouldnt have so many babies" really a decent way to respond to an event that destroyed people's homes and lives.
And then Jesus spake and said "get some goddamn birth control you wretched poor person" Is that what your bible says, piaf?
The problem with most people today is that they cannot think critically. They need every answer handed to them. Instead of thinking "I have no idea what you mean" or "I have no idea what this has to do with the topic of the thread", why not attempt to understand through a wonderful process known as critical thinking?
My critical thinking skills are telling me Houston is a diverse city filled with people from many different backgrounds. Not a third world slum filled with people who are popping out 12 babies a piece
I thought it was clear what post I was referring to, as was my personal opinion on the topic. I am sorry I can"t joke around. People joke around here all the time, in ALL topics, about MANY serious events. Doesn't mean they are not sorry for all the horrible events.
I just dont get the joke I guess Seriously I guess it just went over my head, my apologies if I misinterpreted your words
Yeah, I honestly don't have anything to say to you, after your holier than thour, condescending "YOUR Bible". Because I am of a certain religion, I have to behave a certain way, otherwise my religiosity will get questioned, and people will feel the need to lecture.
