and yes, I love being read to, especially if you'll do all the voices. My husband used to do that for me all the time and I for him. Far better bonding than watching tv side by side.

Poor Rowling, she will never escape. I hope I write a story as good as hers.

 

I loved those books. I've read 'em all.

I don't give a fuck who knows. I cried during some of them.

 

I did too.

I cried When Sirius died and for Cedric Diggory.
I cried and sat stunned over the last book, the lost mentioned a thread for them.

 

dunno but my ex grrlfriend in oxford made the snotty bitch from those movies cry. shes the one im snuggling in the picture below.

 

she could probably make me cry, too.

 

what i never understand is the obsessions people demonstrate with things they claim to not care about or be interested in. some day i will happen accross a second hand paperback of one of the harry potter books in a yard sale for a buck and a half or fifty cents. i will then buy it and read it and see what everybody is making such a big deal about. probably long after everyone else has forgotten it ever existed.

until then, i'm not loosing a damd bit of sleep over my UNintentional ignorance of it.

Never read them/ saw them. Don't think it's my thing. But for those that it is, more power to ya I suppose.

 

ya gotta admit, she must be proud that it's considered a badge of honor to have NOT read it. shit man, she did good for herself.

 

naw kc youd lik er like each udder. i read number 2 cuz i had no other books n no tv. drunk readings great. you can read the same book again n again cuz you fergot you read it.madeline engle is a much better writer ,fer kids books i mean.

 

i read books so fast i miss all sorts of stuff. i forget all sorts of stuff. so i can read a book at least 7 or 8 times before i have it memorized.
