Well, well... Stoners and vegetarians do collide with regularity. http://www.eater.com/2014/12/29/7464613/white-castle-to-unleash-veggie-sliders-upon-nation
The beauty of white castle is there relentless ability to capitalize on just being the plain ordinary sandwich, with no other marketing or advertising besides the standardized white castle logo and packaging. As an marketing executive for a small media production company, I Love how the majority or their marketing and advertising campaigns are word of mouth. "Go Castle Go" which reminds me I need another one as we speak.
The test market was using Dr Praegers, which is relatively decent, nutrient wise. It's more a "hey, we are a market, now" amusement. I'm nowhere near a White Castle.
I could find better looking rolls at my local grocer. XD I befriended a guy that worked at McDonald's and he told me some of the sauces mixes to use and now I can make my own quarter pounder taste like the real deal but make it myself and it tastes the same. Just by mixing mustard, salt and ketchup together. XD
However, no cows (and we know these are the used up dairy cows) will die for stoner late night munchies.
when i was a vegetarian, i was taught by all other vegetarians to treat fake meat the same way as fast food. its very processed and you should only eat it occasionally if at all.
But picture this my veggie friends...you re lost in the wilds of the American Midwest, white lines going by...zip....zip...zip.. For miles upon miles. The last of the hummus is gone. And you really need to pee. And the blue and white beacon rises from the fog...um...smog, leading your growling belly to instant sustenance without the arches. Disclaimer, I have never seen nor eaten in a White Castle, to my memory.
