Did you know that we of the Church of the Good Earth passed a formal vote a few years back making Valentine's Day one of our official Hippie church holidays. As Shameless would say, Love Love Love.

We're getting visitors. Me and Rita in our new house. My old friends Chris "Dusty" Love and Grateful Dead bus tour guy "Dead-On" Bus Randy are going from a secret place in Northern California to somewhere north of Texas. Mystery.

A Road Trip.

So, we'll get to hang out with old friends in a new place. The Joshua Tree area. Fun party meeting of old friends. These friends our after Good Earth times and off into the later "Down Home Nasties" Commune. Sex Drugs and Rock 'n' Roll. I can't wait to see them and to be with them. Perfect.

This will be good and wonderful. The time has come. Pre-Gathering. Coming. Now.

i believe that a lot of us old hippies get often nostalgic and think about the good old days..
the world has gone complicated..but even in the 60's it was not all roses and moonshine...
i found an old pic of me(1972)taken in Jaipur(India)I was in full swing of my hippie travelling years(1970-1976)

Another matter now...as every year in march i go to this flowerpower gig..
Eddy(Aquarius)plays only 60's+70's music from 08.30h until 5 in the morning..
I LOVE this gathering because i meet my hippie friends again..we have a laugh,a smile,lots of beer..
the entry fee is only 5 euro,the whole thing is given to an organisation=cancer support for kids;..
so..it's for a good cause...I am going to go there by train+bus..
I will continue with my travel blog next week...

 

I'm seeing 11:11 or 111 everywhere lately. That's a sign according to my girlfriend. I'm trying to listen.

 

The main highway that runs through Palm Springs, California, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert and other very warm winter cities is highway 111. I've always thought that the number was some kind of magical. You're right!
