Hi sweethearts!

Work has been keeping me pretty busy, but it's good. I'm glad to have a job. Things are going really well for me, I've made some new friends, met a nice young man recently. I've been facing a lot of my fears lately, went to a sports bar for the first time (went twice), that was a big deal for me because I'm very socially-anxious and hate crowds. Recently saw a parade, went to a concert with my new companion. My mom and I took today to go travel around to craft shows, got some cool pictures next to the Des Moines River, will have to post them when I quit being such a lazy bum

 

Finished my first and hopefully last goalie stint. Won one lost one. First game gave up 7 goals and the second game I gave up one in the win. Hurt my knees that WS the last place I thought I would get hurt. Stupid pads kept turning to the side.

 

hi hippies.. just checkin' in but winter blues have flattened me.. I'll adjust in a little while but the whole long stretch of winter lying ahead fills me with gloom.. in time the magical things come like a robin coming to the window feeder & hanging my candles in colourful glass holders outside at 5.30ish..

hi Laci.. it sure is.. are you still in you teens? I remember the early part (adolescence) being bleak but the later part was more fun.. I used to think I'd feel 'all growed up' when I got to 18/19.. but I didn't feel any more so than when I was 12.. I've remained feeling about 17 ever since! :daisy:
