My weekend doesn't start for another 17 hours or more.
Also I am not sure if I am working Saturday or if I am working Monday. What I will do this weekend depends greatly on these things. I won't find that out for another 8 hours. Maybe I go across the bay and visit a friend.Maybe I go to the beach and enjoy one last swim in the ocean. Maybe I stay home and get organized. Maybe I end up working all weekend. We shall see.

 

I have sucked so bad about posting in here lately! I started my new job and it keeps me busy all day, by the time I get home the last thing I want to do is look at a computer screen

I've been thinking about all my HipForums friends though! Hopefully everyone has been doing well. I'm pretty darn happy with where my life is right now. I work as a farm-hand managing a farm that raises show chickens, goats, and horses. I also work as an assistant to a contractor for a home remodeling company and love it. Having a job has been great and I don't have to stress nearly as much I'm also super proud of myself, I faced my fear of driving and took my test to get my learner's permit to drive a car. Still need to get my full license the first week of December, but it's a step in the right direction. I'm really beginning to find myself in a good place and it's wonderful

 

If i didnt work so much i would never post here.

 

I'm currently babysitting a chicken that needed TLC. His name is Poe. He got attacked by a hawk and has a pretty good head injury and neck gash, so he's getting medication and gets to hang out in the house for a few days until he recovers.

 

Quiet in here today. Guess that was expected.

 

hi hippies.. getting autumnal here in uk.. our summers are way too short.. I've been collecting seeds from the garden, whichever the current favourites are..have to get the dirt from under my fingernails before I go into the big wide world.. I forget to don my gloves very often, so I have unused garden gloves & wrecked hands but what the heck.. :daisy:

Hey.. Kenny.. I baked something! Zucchini bread.. which is really zucchini cake, now. There was no fire, blood or screaming involved. whoop! Tomorrow, I'm going to try to make oatmeal bread, which hopefully won't turn out to be oatmeal cake.

The kitchen ain't so bad. It ain't all that good, neither... but I can do this. If I start watching cooking shows.. ya'll just shoot me, please.

 

Reached my salt intake limit for the day after i finish this bag of pretzels.

Cooking shows suck. But if you are looking for ideas to make your dishes better you will sometimes stumble across ideas from a cooking show.
Maybe google would work better if you are looking for something specific.

Have to conserve as much energy as possible until monday. Already tired and have double shifts the next two days then hockey sunday.
