Tiger- I love the pictures of the cats, animals have such a special place in my heart. Over the winter, we had a little orange and white cat that I would always feed. She came every night. Eventually got brave enough to let us pet her and give her some love. We tried to trap her in the garage so that we could get her some flea and tick treatments, but she was much smarter than that and took off. Haven't seen her around since. I bet they really appreciate the food


How's everyone's lives been lately? Anything new going on?

I spent a few hours at the barn with my pony, did a little trail riding and then just hung out for a bit. There's something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man

i'm such a big fan of open air gigs in a stretch of wood...It's so different then indoors..

now on saturday 13th June there is an open air Goa psy trance gig at about 10kms from my town...
i have been there last year...I know the fellow who organises it...it's a free gig..one can donate if one wishes...
but it's not compulsory...it's held in a small stretch of meadows..and the DJ's who play there really do their best...
last year we were VERY lucky with the weather...we all saw the sun come up...and it went real sunny early morning already..
I will be going to that gig of course..here is the line up...
it will be full on==that's a style of Goa psy trance music...I'll try to post a you tube...

to organise a gig like that they need an open space,some simple deco,music installation,speakers etc...
these people know what they are doing..there is a bar with soft drinks,beer etc..but no food...

hi hippies.. I have a family of bluetits in the nesting box & they've been flying out of it & going back in all day.. I think they need to shelter from the wet windy weather.. my son (who lives in germany) comes to work in glastonbury every year, & he's travelling tomorrow.. he's not looking forward to sleeping in a tent in a field, as it's unbelievably cold for 1st day of june.. but they have a great time, good camaraderie & look forward to hooking up the following year.. Way wrong. We can Change the World. We totally changed it in the past and we can again. The problem is that no one in these days has the Long Term Dedication, anymore. This is what I have continually been trying to pull together the entire time that I have been on the Hipforums site. But it seems that nobody gets that. Or they just think that their computer screen is not real and that it's some kind of imaginary dream land or something.

That's why I started this Hippie House. To get folks to learn to become friends. And afterward, to come together with some kind of dedicated commitment to one another. Family. Tribe. Together working for peace and love as the new way of the future.

It's years latter and I'm still here and still trying.

@mally...let me explain what I mean here...as a matter of fact I'm not upset..
this house is a house with 20 rooms..they used to be ALL occupied..
and each room member posted regular..I think I've put a list of members and which room they were in..
95% of them are gone..without a reason or any explanation..
in fact..I'm glad piece,Maura,Kenny,Laci and penguin still post...the rest just gave up...
Mally..you're welcome here==pick a room...you're a bloke with insight in this forum..
we used to have members from the U.K,Ireland,Scotland,USA..
