And a "thrift shop" is a vintage shop. The thrift shop I went to is Goodwill Bought some vintage sweaters, a t-shirt for my boyfriend. Gotta love sweaters for $2!

It sounds like this house was a real great place to be when people were always posting in it. I'll have to make an effort to keep up with this I like finding people to chat with. I don't know anyone on this forum well at all, so it'll be nice to make some friends!

Wrap your head around that. All ex-acidheads eventually become theoretical physicists. Why? Because you’ve been there and done that. LOL.

We have an Elevator, and Stair Lifts to ride on. And scooters.

Just flip any of the hallway light switches that are marked “Reg & Alt 1” ether in the front hallway, middle (by the bathroom), or rear of the hallway switches, to go from one reality floor to the other and back. There are also control settings in the Elevator to go to where you want to go. If you walk up or down any stairs, there are switches at both the tops and the bottoms of the staircases. These also read “Reg & Alt 1”. This will determine where you are when you get to the top or the bottom of the stairs. Think Harry Potter. Only the staircases do not move. LOL. Have Fun!

Hope that's room enough for me and all my animals! I have 3 dogs, a turtle, a rat, a ferret, and a pony. I guess the pony could stay in the stable

I have lots of animals:
-8 year old miniature pinscher named Tegan
-8 year old basset hound named Lois
-3 year old alaskan malamute/border collie named Sebastian
-4 year old alligator snapping turtle/mississippi map turtle named Earl Jean The Turtle Machine
-2.5 year old ferret named Slinky
-3 year old rat named Chico (he's blind and very aggressive, be careful sticking your fingers in the cage!)
-24 year old quarter pony named MiMi

They're all dolls, mostly special needs animals I've collected over the years. My home is an animal sanctuary of sorts for the abused, neglected, sick, old, injured, hopeless animals of this world. I typically rehab them, retrain them, and train them as therapy animals to work with individuals with physical/emotional/mental disabilities.

 

The attic will be a very lively with all these animals,...would it not be better to be in the basement or second floor if any place becomes free?
are you sure roamy's goat will not be a problem with one of your animal companions?
from the attic to the garden with all these nice animals will maybe not be easy...a malamute,she said...Oh..
the pinscher Tegan will become my friend,in fact ALL of them..although i am not mental for the moment(ahahah)
a blind rat...never heard about anything like that..I'll be careful with my fingers...do not worry..

Hahaha, the basement would probably be best for us all, but I figured the attic would be away from anyone with allergies

And his birthday went very well! His parents got him a nice new hoodie, and I got him a home-made tie-dye blanket, a t-shirt, a gift card to his favorite restaurant, a cake, and a nice letter. He was really appreciative and happy with it, especially the fleece blanket since Iowa is entering the coldest part of the year!

in this house we should talk about anything,and I do find we should have a code here,
no house rules but the fact that we should not judge or put postings who hurt other housemates,
only then a house like this can be like a sort of of a community.. I think this house needs reorganizing..
and folks should be honest with eachother..life can be already difficult enough..

A couple of the people on that list of rooms i have not seen since i got my room....when i say that i mean i havnt seen them on any thread since.

 

Some people left HF, others just left the house.

I used to live in the Carriage House behind the house. My room was next to the art studio. I left when someone decided to tear down the Carriage House.
