Well,I've been away for more then 40 days=a trip towards Romania and Bulgaria... :bandana:
guess what?I do not even find my travel journal back in this new style forum and I wanna put a full report about my travel adventures...the ones who ever have read my travel old tiger journal know that i've put a fucking amount of work in it...to write,report and follow it up...can anyone help me putting it back into the blog section?I really do not find my way for this time being in this new style forum,my journal had over 300000 views and that's a lot for a little Belgian(ahah)I see that new people have posted in this house and i will reply to it,good tio see that tyrso posts a lot again... :bandana:

Tigerman, my old friend So very good to see you, welcome back. Things have changed quit a bit around here. I am just finding my way around too.

I wanted to thank you for the post card. It was lovely to hear from you <3 I do hope you get your journal back. I'm sure Skip is working on it.

I have been busy all summer canning food from our farm. I have been canning more this yr than ever before in my whole life. It was wonderful and my cupboards are full to the brim.

O.K,mvmcd(Maura is it?)i was in Hikkaduwa beginning this year and you can read about it in my old journal,pictures as wel...I loved Hikkaduwa..great beach..I stayed in a lovely hotel there as well..I have started my new blog about my East European trip=just came back yesterday===have been away for 40 days...loved it..my eyes...well...cataract operation on my right eye on 8 october coming,burn a candle. :daisy: :bulb: ..and finally 1 question for you==where did yo hide that Irish strong stuff in this house=potein..??.

I had a great time with my best friend of 44 years last night. He came over around 9 and we smoked a sufficient amount of Blue Dream while catching up on our lives. We get together every Thursday night. Then we watched this very cool documentary on the Rolling Stones called "Crossfire Hurricane" in my home theatre. We watched the whole thing because it was so good. I adjusted my subwoofer for more bass. After that, he got out his fancy Martin guitar and I got out my Collings mandolin and we played awesome versions of "Mississippi Half Step Uptown Toodleoo", "Friend of the Devil", and "Pancho and Lefty".

 

I hope I still spend evenings like that with my friend(s) in about 30 years

I don't know where they are, I am never in this thread to be honest But yeah I'm an oldtimer on here but not yet in real life So when I get there I hope I still chill with my mates like that for sure!

 

hi tiger.. you really have been living it up.. I spent a summer in Bulgaria about 7 years ago, & stayed in hostals for the first time in my life.. Low budget travelling is the greatest fun.. lots of friendly & very well behaved young people.. I have beautiful red morning glorys that are now 6th gereration from seeds that I collected. They grow wild there, but I have to tend to them here as they dont like the cold.. You'll never find my potein.. the happy hippy house would change out of all recognition if you got a taste for the stuff!! hugs & good wishes :daisy:

that was the rubbish variety.. just to keep you busy! as we from ireland say 'the devil makes work for idle hands'.. sorry my user name is a piece of work.. I was just learning to use the computer, & my son was choosing things I'd remember, like initials, & my passwords are the baby words I used when my children were toddlers.. maybe I'll master enough computer magic to change it some time.. I drop in to the church of the good earth since I reconnected with the cyber world.. It's lovely to be back in touch with my old friends.. everyone I know who was part of the tribe back in the day, but had to fit into the mainstream to raise children etc have very fond memories of those days.. I lived in a squat in London, & we had a lovely community spirit.. we ran a wholefood cafe, & put the spare money towards 'the bust fund', as the fines were heavy for possesion of cannabis, so we found our way to deal with stuff.. oh happy days.. :daisy:
