I discovered I was a 'hippie' when the fuzz in San Antonio Texas busted my house (Evergreen House) in '66 and the headlines in the paper the next day read "Hippies Discovered!".

    Dear old tiger,

I for one Love your rant. We should all be kind and make allowances. It should be acceptable. Everyone should be allowed to rant every once in a while.

I agree totally with what you wrote. And it all being a very large subject, I would also agree with other additional points of view. But that's just me being open.

    Everybody's got a view.

Some people hate the label "hippie". Others embrace it. I'm in the latter group.

    Lot of Love.

Yes, a rant is just fine. Why not? The days are getting sunny in the UK, + the garden beckons..

Glad to see another old-timer going to festies. I've been going to small psytrance gatherings (usually 200-300 people) for about three years and have been in a crew for about a year, so now I'm helping make things happen. These are amazing times!

Hope it goes well with ex gf.

Hey everyone! I'm thinking about moving back in for awhile. I don't want a room, I want to put up a yurt in the garden. I've got a woodburner, so I will be snug and warm. Me and the two greyhounds and a ton of plants. I'll need to come in to use the shower though. Anyone wanna help me put up the yurt?

  9. Just point me in the right direction!

  10. Oh, by the way Still, I hope it's a smallish one and not one the size of a small town! ;)

    Hi old friends
Been to the jersey shore to put my home on the market- - doesnt look good, but it is near the ocean so someone will like the location at least- - The state has now put in in a flood zone, so that raises insurance rates....we.ll see
Meantime Norwalk Ct has been full of snow for the last month...seems like I cant get a break

Morning Jack. That song is loaded with memories. My ex was her roommate when that was written.

My first year college English 1A professor, co-wrote that song. (Lyrics)

His class was the very first time that I ever got an A in English. WOW.
I had always had Ds and Fs, in high school and the lower grades.

He was great. One of the few people who were the great influences in my life.

Janis and Pooh had a place on Central between Haight & Page across from Jimi and were strung out on the afternoon movie show on Channel two 'Dialing for Dollars'.

I've made organic wholemeal bread, there's three loaves in the kitchen, if anyone wants some. It's still warm.

This afternoon I've been starting to make some new curtains, matching up the pattern has been a real bastard, and at one point I caught my finger on a pin and smeared blood all over the fabric. I really panicked and tried to get the blood off, before I realised that was the bit I was going to cut off to match up the pattern anyways. Panic over.

Do we still have parties around here?
