Calling all friends in Europe!

Today is the western English continent's Thanksgiving Day. A friends and family gathering and feasting tradition. Super celebration Feast.

For those who don't know, this holiday is based on the first harvest after 1 year in Plymouth, Massachusetts. In 1621, after starving since 1620. You are in the half of the people who are still alive. Thank God. And that is a great reason to feast and party.

My wish to all of to who do not have this tradition, May you find a good reason to thank God in you heart for all that you are and for all that you have. Get with family or friends and celebrate being with them and your joy in life. Find a way to feast and with gratitude.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Feast today, with your Loved ones. Clean up afterward. Then watch Football. Either kind. LOL

Secondly but more sincerely for this wonderful extended family the Lord has given unto us. I'll not try to name us each and everyone, but ask the Great Creator's brightest Blessings for us all.

Yeah we met up in the city, had a coffee then helped out some homeless people..was a fun interesting night!

Back from Cyprus!!!! :sunny:I feel so lucky and blessed...we had a week of sunshine, beaches, palm trees, drinking wine in a taverna outside in the evenings, drove into the hills and met old ladies weaving cloth and rearing goats....huge herds of goats over there! Orange trees, banana trees, lemon trees, we walked round the Roman ruins and the neolithic tombs...it was so lovely. I wish I could have brought you all with me.
We got back last night and Somerset is flooded, it took us ages to drive home from the airport because there were diversions all over the place, roads under water etc. It was lovely to sleep in our own bed last night and to pick up the greyhounds this morning.

Morning all! Just back from the gym, babysitting my grandson this afternoon. I've just discovered the storms here blew out one of the windows in the greenhouse while we were away. I've done a temporary repair, but I'll get Bob the Bastard to help me do it properly when he gets back from his mum's.

I'm hoping ya'll had a good Thanksgiving feast. We feasted ourselves and our neighbors, sent them home with more, filled the frig with leftovers.....I can't think of one hippy cook in the entire extended family who can cook for just a few folks on a feast day....

The wind was intense here last night, up to 100mph. We've had trees down and roads closed!

I get my new kitty on wednesday, I've adopted her from the shelter, shes the same age as Pixie too. Visiting her again tomorrow with babyp so they can meet, and I've swapped hers and pixies blankets so they get used to eachothers scents. Excited!

I've just got home from the shelter, and I'm now off to the tattoo shop to help out with some stuff, wish it was to get some ink lol..
