I buy regular value brand ground coffee from the supermarket and make it in a cafetiere...It's passably okay...
I can make crappy coffee taste pretty good with lots of sugar, heated milk, and hazelnut flavored syrup. :coffee:
I often believe that "value" brand stuff is just as good as the expensive kind...You're just not paying for the expensive packaging and advertising campaigns...
My fav for years has been a fresh ground blend of columbian & sumatran. You're not spending as much on alcokol so up grade.
oh...I'm going on a holiday... If I had you..I mean the caravan...see you tube(ah):sunny: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lkG6VTS7q-E&feature=related"]DIRE STRAITS IF I HAD YOU - YouTube
I usually get mostly columbian, but I look for light roasts as they have more caffeine... Always whole bean, I grind them fine like espresso, and make it with a filter in a funnel one cup at a time... sometimes two at a time. :2thumsup: Never sugar/cream/flavored stuff..... Just coffee. :coffee:
Over the years I've taken my coffee black, black with sugar, milk only, and milk & sugar. Black coffee is too hard on me - gives me heartburn. Now, with the hazelnut syrup added it's like having a desert several times a day = yummm!!!
I take mine black too, with two sugars though depending on what type of morning it is :coffee: We need a coffee room in this house I think, coffee seems to be what many of us have in common
Erggggh, I need triple quadrilateral coffee today. I am..........'socialising' later........ For once, someone remembered I exist and asked me to come out and I begrudgingly said yes because I'm forcing myself to socialise and be normal! Lol...this will be fun...
I did a school project on coffee once....One of the active ingredients in coffee is the alkaloid "Theobromine" which is Ancient Greek for "God food." Hope you have a good time tonight MamaPeace.
Hope you enjoy your holiday in England Tiger...Uhm...I'm here already...Do you think I should just pretend I'm on holiday?
