Not just politics, I meant everything... People seem more inclined to backstabbing then they were 40 years ago. It's in everything, business, sports, politics, financial, entertainment, etc.... It also seems, if you pay attention to the media/TV/movie, etc. that the sneaky double-crossing backstabber is to be looked up to. Assholes like Trump, you know?

We're more aware because they're more bold. They think they've got the public so buffaloed and brainwashed they no longer need to be covert.

I agree and so many times they don't even try to make credible lies to cover up their abuse of us. It's blatant.

That's pretty wild shit Ty. LSD Camps :) I know the movie is way more of a politico msg, but its still kinda funny how no matter how far we've come we're still falling behind and repeating the same scenarios just with different faces and worse music.

Yeah, I know them all but I'm better friends with Dr. Chud. He even spent the night at my house one night. Then Doyle and his wife Gorgeous George I know pretty well because my boyfriend is president of the Gorgeous Frankenstein fan club. I'm not a fan of Jerry Only but I've met him. I've met all the members of Danzig several times. Steve Zing is a friend because we have other mutual friends in bands that have played with Zing's band when he's not playing with Danzig. I know Johnny Kelly, okay... I've got tons of stuff signed to me from Danzig and the others. I've only met Michale Graves once.

Wow girl, you have no idea how much I envy you right now! :) My husband & I are just HUGE Misfit Fans, you have now idea..lol.. That is just so amazingly AWESOME! You are very lucky Aeri..As is your hubby :)
I seen them play back in '07 I think it was, in a pretty small venue . Jerry Only was lead vocals , I'm not a big fan of his either, but it was still a good show none the less. We we front & center at the show. Then afterwards they came out to shake hands & to do autographs. My signed stuff got lost during a move, which makes me sad:(

I would love to have a autograph from Danzig & to me him ! I know my hubby would he is also a huge fan of his too. LOL Like I said ,you have no idea girl. We have been collecting Misfit stuff since we have been together, which is 10 years..lol..

Sorry I did not mean to go on a rant.... your probably wishing you wouldn't have told me now..lol.. Thank you though 4 sharing that with me. So effing cool girl !!!:2thumbsup:

    Morning :coffee:
Had the weirdest dream EVER. Just an hour and a half (so it seemed) of me sitting there eating different types of meats, the biggest meals too and only meat, no potatoes or veggies. Strange because I'm a strict vegetarian, well I'm vegan even, and the thought of even being near meat makes me cringe, let alone eating it.

Also, I was watching some interview yesterday on tv and they were 'debating' about whether the UK should continue giving foreign aid to other countries. As I watched a couple of men in suits talk very seriously about these matters I wondered to myself whether they felt like twats, because they looked like twats, respectively.

I also watched a programme called 'our war' at about 2am. It's a documentary that the British soldiers in Afghanistan had recorded over the past year. One guy said something that really stood out to me. He said (something along the lines of....) 'Our job is to protect a road leading from one major city to another so that civilians can travel safely. We are protecting it from the Taliban who want to kill us. We are protecting a road, that only needs protecting because we are here.' Scary right?

Anyway, hope everyone is fine and dandy on this monday morning :sunny:

During that posted speech (a page or 2 back)- I remember , I was at a SEARS store in Northern NJ-

    November of 1973 >>
Declaring that "I am not a crook," President Nixon vigorously defended his record in the Watergate case tonight and said he had never profited from his public service.

"I have earned every cent. And in all of my years of public life I have never obstructed justice," Mr. Nixon said.

"People have got to know whether or not their President is a crook. Well, I'm not a crook. :icon_bs: I've earned everything I've got."

There must have been 100 people in the TV/Electronics dept- with all those TV,s tuned into that speech it seemed surreal- I remember the look on the faces of so many that probably voted for him in 1968
    ------------------------------
    ------------------------------
In another speech, one of his campaign promises yrs before , he pledged to end the draft--
Nixon saw ending the draft as an effective way to undermine the anti-Vietnam war movement, since he believed college-age youths would stop protesting the war once their own possibility of having to fight in it was gone.- He was very wrong
-His idea for ending the draft was Vietnamization, which still sent 1000,s more over there as we trained the south to take over for themselves- -The Anti-War movements got larger and angrier. Veterans came home feeling used and bitter :(
    ----------
Anyway- Seeing that Video of that creep brought back some memories- Time for a cuppa coffee and a little music - too early for Politics:peace:

AAARRRGGGG! Apparantly we are now not moving for another two weeks. It's a really long complicated and boring explanation, but it's not to do with us, it's to do with the people who are buying our house and the people who are buying theirs. So we are all packed up and not going anywhere at the moment. Surrounded by boxes and I can't even get to my books or my sewing to take my mind off it. Plus, my mobility and balance is not brilliant, so constantly stepping over and around boxes is actually quite dangerous for me. Bleh!!!!:(

People do care, even if you've never met them before.
    I care.
