How's everyone today? im tired because I'm not sleeping well recently but I do feel quite refreshed this morning, I gave myself closure over something that was dragging my life down and I feel so much better for it yaaay!! Today's tasks are ringing places to find better work, fun fun fun!!

Hey Tiger! I love the Waterboys...I have their new album...I'm good today.I found an exchange shop that has loads of cool music gear like synthesizers and stuff which will be great for when I start setting up my home studio...Also bought some strings for my Spanish guitar.It's a bit of a job to put these on so I'll be doing that this afternoon after I've had a few coffees.I also found a music school that is local to me.I may resume my drumming lessons as I need to learn drum notation to programe my beats properly.They also teach flute and saxophone and loads of other things,all at reasonable prices,so I may take up a new instrument entirely as well...Hope everyone has a good day!

Shameless you are wonderful! Thankyou! The greyhounds were getting a bit stressed and disoriented wondering where their beds and toys were. And my spinning wheel wasn't damaged in the move!

Actually, I don't know how I cope with two moves at the same time, one virtual housemove and one in real life!

 

Thank you shameless! :love: babyp is especially thankful because she can now continue doing her colourful scribbles over her bedroom wall, she was in the middle of a piece that I've named 'the pasta sauce sunrise' (and yes, in my flat there is actually a drawing she did on one of the walls that she so kindly coloured in with pasta sauce...she's also drawn one that actually looks like a dragon!)

Many years ago I used to play the guitar and I was at my daughter's house yesterday and I picked up her guitar and started to play. I've decided I'm going to get a guitar again as a reward for not murdering (peacefully, of course!) the estate agents and lawyers dealing with our house move. I'm totally crap on the guitar, but I enjoy it.

 

We should start a house band!

 

Hun, you do realize slang for guitar is 'axe'.

Our House is OPEN again, untill we hear from Skip at least.

The trouble was, a few yrs back when Skip had an outside server the was a bandwith limit.. then he got his own server and so, he doesn't have to pay extra for more bandwith. Wyldwynd did not know this.

It's all good, no worries.

Stillcrazy.There's a lot of mystifying crap around playing guitar...Anyone can do it if they want to...It's never to late to learn to play...Plus a guitar looks nice sitting in the corner of the room and is a great addition to any families interior decor...There are many great song you can learn to sing with just three chords...Actually I was thinking of asking MamaPeace to add some vocals to a tune or two I've written...(Haven't asked her how she feels about that yet...) So I think a house band would be a great idea! Let's all think of band names and maybe even come up with some lyrics which we can post up!

 

But I like this house now!!!
