Mama...The song is something like..."Always wear flowers in your hair when you go to San Fran Cisco"...You know that hippy dippy lovin' vibe which I don't see much around Hackney or Croyden...That was the basic joke...(Listen to the song again.)

 

Ha oh I see, no croyden isn't very welcoming to that vibe.. I went barefoot into the town centre once, ended up buying a pair of flip flops to walk back in, the comments were ridiculous! one person said something along the lines of 'I know were in a recession but shoes are only cheap' then my reply of 'I choose not to wear shoes' wasn't really understood and I was called a freak

 

One man's freak is another man's hero/heroine!

 

I know that,fair...no problem at all...
if I ever come London way...
we'll have a natter as they say in the bloody U.K..:2thumbsup:
and that goes for EVERYBODY in this house..
a virtual space...is different then a face to face space...
but...it's O.K..is there anything special going on in the house??

Hi everyone I'm back from Off Grid. I had an amazing time! Off Grid is more of a gathering than a festival and it looked like a mediveal village. I watched some sheep being sheared by the farmer and I got a still-warm fleece from him for my spinning wheel. He reckons there is enough wool for about 10 pairs of socks. We ate wonderful food and saw great local bands and we danced half the night. We were working with a really wonderful team of people and realised that some of them live only in the next village from us, so we will be meeting up again soon.
Off Grid actually goes on until Tuesday, but we came home today because we are still getting the house ready to be handed over to the new buyers.

Thanks Specs. Moving date has changed again! The people buying our house have said they can't move on the 31st and now it MIGHT be the 3rd. I sooooo wish it was all over!
