I'm rummaging through the charity and second hand shops today to see if I can find any hidden gems. In search of old ornaments and books really really want a wooden carved buddha!

MamaP I just happen to have a carved wooden buddha, I do hope you find one also. Mine is very old, not sure how old but old none the less.

I hope everyone is well and happy on these last few days of the summer. Fall is in the air and I look forward to cooler temps. It's been 110 and above all month.

I'll be out of pocket today, running errands for others trying to help my fellow Human Beings.

Found no buddhas
But picked up 4 books and some cool candle :2thumbsup:
I'll find my buddha one day!!

 

Believe it or not...but I got a wooden carved Buddha...just the head..
I might take a picture of it...and post it on here..
I took it home from India in 1999..:2thumbsup:

 

I've got my eye on one that someone is selling, it was carved in 1850!!!! Really old. Cool tiger, post away :2thumbsup:

Hey Housemates! Love the buddha Tiger! I also have a carved wooden buddha but he is packed at the moment! I searched everywhere for him, because I really wanted a laughing buddha and that's what I eventually found.

I'm off to a festival tomorrow for about a week. I'll try and pop in tomorrow and say goodbye. Love to all.

I'm bored. I slept in and when I got up, my hubby got called into work so we didn't have any time together. Now he won't be back until 10 Time to find something to do!

 

i got the same problem princi...except i dont have a husband, im just bored and need something to do,
oh look at that the lawn needs cutting. i guess i will have to go put on clothes now to go do that.

 

I feel the same way. I hate putting on clothes if I'm not going to do something fun. I'm wearing one of his shirts and a pair of boyshorts listening to music and surfing the web. But not before cleaning up the dishes and picking the hub's clothes off the damn floor If I had money I'd go do something.

At least I have my kitty. God that sounded sad.

There is a shop in Notting Hill gate that specializes in carved Buddhas - really old ones too - but I'm not sure how pricey they are.
