Wow! I had to catch up on ten pages now it is almost time to leave. We are about to have a thunder storm I just hope we get some rain. We need rain.

I am all for keeping Roamy's magical goat. I do enjoy the garden but I am sure there are weeds to eat and of course keep down any of the grass (lawn) that we might have around.

I will also help with the garden, I love plants...they speak to me. I am happy to weed, water, prune, whatever. I will also look after the mass of houseplants I keep propagating.

Need a LARGE garden! With Monsoon taking care of the weeding and aii the eager gardeners including myself. I won my first flower show ribbons at age ten and dispite the fact that at first glance most folks see me as an outlaw biker/hippie I can still plant a fine garden. I've gardened in that part of the Haight and it's a basic sandy soil and from that start one can create any soil needed depending on your additives. btw it's occured to mewe should nave a patch of goodies just for Monsoon

 

Ranger, We don't have any weeds. What in the world would make anyone think that I would dream up a garden that included weeds. No weeds. No lawn.

Now we know where the super market is.
Now any group of us can go out and hang out at hippie hill anytime that we feel like. Without a native guide. Now everyone of us can be that native guide. We live there. We're all the native here.

The back yard doesn't have a lawn and the front is driveway. The central area of the yard is all garden and the yard is not all that big. Along the fence line around the food garden is a surround and all flowers and vines. (low flowers with high planes behind those. Roses, Fuchias, vine orchids, and others.)

This house is in a city, a yard can only be so big even if it's magic. It not in the open countryside with room forever. To the double size yard we've already added a very large out door hot tub, and huge table with two dozen chairs so that we can have garden parties, and for folks who don't want to live with us —new space for a tent, and two story carriage house, not to mention a wine cellar to hide the bodies in. If we can come up with $3 million to buy the house behind us and pay to level it, then we can add to the back yard. And yet the carriage is at the back end of the yard. So, to extend the yard further back we would need to level that as well.

Consensus anyone????

 

Well if we can have alternate reality bedrooms we can have an alternate reality backyard, no?

 

Hey Guys , sorry I've not been around much I have been working my butt off. I have put in 56 hrs in the past 5 days uuuhhh!!! My boss had some stuff come up so I have had to work her shifts and my own. Not to mention I have not got my days off in the past 3 weeks & I still have a week to go. So please wish me luck guys, I need it ... Hopefully during the next week I can get caught up with everyone here and with all the house plans . Hope all has been well with you guys...

 

No we have a brand new 80,000 acre real farm in Nebraska now. There's a new secret door right next to your (Tyrsonswood's) bedroom door from the hall that goes right into the pantry of the huge farm house there. It's a giant commercial farm with all of the tractors and equipment that anyone could possibly dream of having.

I feel that we should be trying to turn the Haight-Ashbury is San Francisco and a happening that was TOTALLY URBAN, into the Amish. For that reason I feel like I have to say something here.

There's a new secret door to the country. All of the Nebraska that you can EAT. Have fun.

 

There's also 3.8 million goats and 43 million head of cattle on our farm.

Actually I did want for our second house to be on the beach in Spain, near where etherea lives. But that one can be third now.

So there's a wormhole right next to my bedroom door..... Could make going to the bathroom in the middle of the night somewhat challenging.

 

If you end up in an old farm house pantry, that is where all of the supply of toilet paper is, for that house. Or you could just come back through the door.

 

My luck I'd end up in OZ with some miserable short people and flying monkeys....

No No No, That's the hidden door that is right next to the basement's bathroom door.

No way would you possibly be able to accidentally walk through that door if you where just going through your bedroom door and back through, while just going to the bathroom in the middle of the night.
