Yes I saw a documentary about the Haight Ahsbury on TV.There were some pretty strung out kids in far out scenes was the impression I got.Must have been a lot of good times too though,eh?
So Ranger, I found you a brother to hang out with who's not all that far from Portabello Road. Are you ready to go and knock 'em dead? For those who aren't quite following this. http://www.portobelloroad.co.uk/
I may be wrong but me thinks you underestimate our fair maids. On the other hand many young Americans would most likely be confused considering how little factual info is taught in todays 'schools' about 'the War of Northern Agression'.
Hey don't look at me. I would have just waved bye bye and have a nice Life. I still think that all of the red States should still "secede from the union" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/04/15/gov-rick-perry-texas-coul_n_187490.html And can you explain to me once again why Texas ever joined the states in the first place? That never sounded to me like it was ever in the best interest of Texas, to get with either North or South, and especially with both. All of the intelligent Texans where in the minority on that vote. Come to think of it. If they had stayed as their own nation, they could have owned all of Mexico by now and conquered Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico before 1865. Could have done that easily. Don't you think??? And would have never been a part of the War between the States. And could have made a fortune selling European weapons to the South and to the Northerners up in Missouri and North Kansas. And Cattle with Big taxes and latter Oil with Big taxes to all of the others.
They joined the Union for the same reasons California did. The USA urged Americans to migrate to the new republics until there were enough 'Americans' to carry a vote to join the Union.
Maybe they should have worked a deal with Santa Anna? How would that have played out? I wonder? Keep the voters out. And how did they become a "New Republic" of the U.S.A.? So, that the U.S.A. could urge people? As if if belonged to the U.S.A.?
Nice segue for some Santana! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJmO4zs2odM"]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJmO4zs2odM

I'm sure you could teach her Ma'am. They tell me when i'm stoned or angry my Texas comes to the surface. One of the funniest things I ran in to in London was a pair of carpenders both well over 6' and built big who were pals. One was from Cornwall and the other from North Umberton (sp?). They each had such heavy accents and dialects the native Londoners couldn't understand a word either of them spoke. They would go to a pub and start a loud argument waing arms and talking ioudly in thick accents. Soon the local would srart buying them pints and trying to calm them down! LOL
I bought all the fair-goers one of these baskets at the Simmon's Natural Bodycare booth. You know, just took knock the trail dust off of you. http://simmonsnaturalbodycare.com/rusticbasket.html
