i am off on my long journey soon, its unfortunate that i finally get some time off work and i still cant visit the house as much as i would like but i should have fun the next couple days.

I am just knowing that over this weekend, Old tiger and Tyrsonswood will be out there and having the most fun viewing all of the pictures of the Oregon Country Fair. Maybe Ranger Too.

Hi,peeps just in and straight through the special door to the fair! Have to hunt up some food before I take in the sights and sounds. I do hear some cool drumming coming from somewhere though. No, food is a must. Have to get my nose working as well as my ears and eyes. Wait a minute just spotted a thai noodle stall. See you all shortly!

 

I've just bought a cafetiere so I can make some really nice coffee in stead of that instant stuff I've been drinking for months.(I'm laying off the booze.) Listening to the new Waterboys album.(Their big hit was "Whole of the Moon".)

 

Well my feet hurt after all that walking round at the fair!! Managed to find a guitar strap too!
I'm in the kitchen if anyone wants to join me for some beer! I think a little kitchen gathering could be fun

 

Well MamaPeace...I was off the booze...But just popped out for 3 cans of Guinness...But that really is my limit...So I might join you in the kitchen for a natter after all.

Well...I'm good...In the real World...(Who said Hip forums wasn't the real World..Oops..I didn't know)...I went into Swiss Cottage to pick up some contact lenses...Bought a couple of cds and a DVD.(I should be so lucky.) I'm preparing to leave Tottenham next week for a a nicer flat in a nicer part of London...Enfield.It's gonna be great...Only drawback is it's gonna take me longer to get into Town.(Yes I remember the riots...I was here...It happened 3 mins walk from my house...)

 

despite the riots Enfield is nice! I was right in the thick of the riots, in Croyden! Scary stuff that was, there was 'protestors' all gathered right outside my block of flats!
I think, no matter where you are in the London area, getting into the main heart of it all is really quite easy/quick, its good we have so much transport everywhere. When I visited Yorkshire a few years back they were stunned at how quickly we could get around. A bus every 10 minutes is luxury

 

You're right about transport...We are blessed...I'll tell you something...We were watching the riots live on telly...And the we could hear the police helicopter that was hovering overhead us...In real life...On the telly at the same time...If you catch my drift.
