- ignore the pinup girls posted on the back wall- The young guys like to tape them up in the coffee room at the Trucking Warehouse where I used to work > (and I guess continue to work- parttime )

Also nice that i slept until 430am- July 4 is a Holiday here in the USA:juggle: , so let me read back to see if we have a Barb-B-Que planned for tonite- With the China towns (on the east and west ends) I'm sure we could gather up some colorful fireworks for tonight

the man is usually a little more lenient on the 4th, i have never heard of anyone getting fined on independents day. but there is no magic pass to be had.
i use to love going out to the raritan bay on the 4th because you could see about 7 different towns fireworks show.

Good afternoon one and all! Beautiful day here, just back from the pool. Got some fantastic cherries from the market this morning. Still upstairs here in my room,will bring them down in a mo! One more move to make in a game of chess and it should be mine! that is if my opponent doesn't suddenly sign out. Her/she is just delaying the agony I'm afraid, game's mine! Anyway I'll give it 5 mins then I'll be done. Got some nectarines and peaches as well.

Morning my Darlins,

I have missed you one and all.

I posted some new pics in my gallery of some of what has been keeping me away.I was doing Peaches lastnight. I didnt have many this year. The Birds, Squirrels and insect seem to think that MY peaches belong to them.. They treat my grapes the same way.

The Ole Rabbit took to my lettuce and greens, but they were just about played out anyway. It's too hot for lettuce and greens, it's already in the triple digits and the humidity has been like trying to breath underwater and clings to everything.

I was wondering on what to do with all the cantaloupe. Hubilicious will not allow me to freeze it bc it makes everything taste like cantaloupe, esp the ICE, he uses a lot of ice. So, I am at ends on what to do with it. We cannot possibly eat them all. I give them away daily but they keep on keeping on .

I have tried cantaloupe soup, jarred, but it's nasty. I could sell them but we dont get a lotta traffic out here in the sticks.

WE mass planted bc usually some seeds dont make, or weather gods decide not to give us rain, or just to get a giggle they send too much at one time.

Lynn said yesterday, We are too old to Farm. I nearly cried. It broke my heart to see him come to the realization that he was becoming limited in his activities due do his disability.

We'll have to find something for him to Work on without him using his back so much. I betcha I can think up something awesome he can do with Wood. He has every kind of thingamajig type tool to do anything and Baby Boy (youngest son) is a mechanical genius. I think they should build Windmills. Yes, Yes. I will sublimally suggest it when Lynn is sleeping..lolol.

 

@shameless...can i order some pasta sauce and the 3 jars on the left shelf
on the bottom...can you deliver them to my room???I love pickled stuff..
in India every household makes *achar* which can be pretty hot stuff for the palate..
