Happy Hallowe'en

As usual, no shows on twerk or tweeters way out here on the farm....;-)

 

It is actually a good thing that they postponed Halloween here since the storms were bad enough to bring down trees and power lines. Some other counties had tornado warnings and or straight line winds. Lots of damage out there this morning.

 

The bell rang about 6 times all night....next yr Im just gonna put a big bowl of snickers or something out on the porch with a sign that sez - "take a few ,but dont be greedy" .It certainly isnt like the old days,,,the kids would be showing up all night dressed in great costumes. Now we only get a few..and the parents are with them most of the time. Kind of a shame - -I guess Halloween isnt a big deal anymore...at least around here

 

Cape Town

Live fairly near by to one of the dodgiest places in the area where meth is the staple diet.. The dreaded Lavender Hill... it's not rare to see a body at the side of the road when you drive past.
It's not as bad as that where I'm at, but it's not wise to put yourself at risk, cos SA breeds some master opportunists. So.. not much trick or treating
