Ah, Easter...that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living. Wait, that's Christmas, sorry.
No Dice.. it's when Easter bunnies leave delicious chocolate eggs all over the garden! The special little yellow chickens that everyone loves! Thanks for ruining that one moot! Lmao! And even people who can't have sugar or milk can eat lots and lots of chocolate eggs! Ha! WARNING not real, but not for the faint hearted! Thanks moot..Lol https://youtu.be/8RMhTQjs3Y0
Sorry to rub it in Meliai, but I've been sunning myself on the beach, then had two pints in the sun down the pub
Yeah, to you, too, Sapphire. I have been busy making an Easter basket for my darling little almost 3 year old tomorrow...(Stan's niece)....She will turn 3 in June...and I will do this all over again for her birthday....She loves little involved things and will look at things for hours and study them...smart little thing.... I finally finished putting this big basket together for her....with 12 different toys....oh, how fun! My favorite toy in here is on the bottom ....a big soft white rabbit with orange and green carrots all over it and hot pink paw pads that are such a surprise to all of the other colors of it.... Big kid at heart here. My mother made Easter baskets for my brother and me when we were little.....and she was good at it...i take after her , I guess....Flowers are all popping their heads out outside. Spring has sprung! :daisy:
They had a banquet of food at Stan's nephew's....lamb, ham for meats, but my favorite things to eat yesterday were the green salads, roasted carrots and cupcakes, Stan's other niece, who is 15 years old made. Those cupcakes are so good,,,,I had to take 3 of them home. My little 2 year old was in a fowl mood yesterday....and had many time outs by her mom..... At one point, she took out a soft white big tank top I gave to someone out of the gift bag and went to her mom with it, and said..."i want this dress..."...this tank is soft knit, cotton, cool .....and she had a scratchy polyester, uncomfortable dress on.....I understood what she wanted.....and was saying...but her mom got impatient with her and grabbed her and took her to time out, as her mom was not paying attention to what she was saying...and the little 2 year old hit her mom to get her attention, and the mom lost it...I felt so bad, but did not say anything...i wanted to say.."Don;t you hear what your daughter is saying to you? get that uncomfortable dress off of her!"...but I didn't....
