My approach to "saving the planet" is to simply be conservative with my consumption of resources.
It also happens to coincide with not squandering my own resources, so killing two birds with one stone.

It's late but...... Better late than never

 

The climate changes but so does mankind.

 

Hope for the better too, mankind is a cruel and destructive species.

 

Ecologists think of the environment for 365 days of the year and then Earth Day was established to slowly start the rest off in the same direction. Solutions are sometimes invented on this day by those who are impacted by it.

 

So far... Technology has been Ecology's biggest enemy but we are now at the peak of it and there is nothing left for us to want. Forest is the new jewellery!

 

A football size price of the the rain forest disappears every second.

Those two posts paint a rather disturbing picture about civilization.

 

When all is said and done, much more is said than done.

I've been growing trees for decades. Long before Al Gore forecasted certain doom by the year 2002, was it? Little seedlings are now 80' tall. I'd estimate I've been responsible for some 10,000 trees by now. Mostly deciduous trees, not just evergreens.

Who has predicted the end of the world many times that never happened? Religious kooks and environmentalist kooks, that's who. You'd think we'd know better by now.

Technology... What did they just make on Mars? From what?

We can adopt the notion that technology will obliterate life on the planet, or we can adopt the notion that technology will assure it. Which will make us happier and more diligent?

 

You were born for ecology too.

 

Yeah but I don't cause pain to others. I just do my best at being a good steward of God's creation without being critical of, and a nuisance to, others. It's irritating and presumptuous of people to do that.

Now if only these foolish believers in preachers of cataclysmic emergency certain doom, give up your possessions and way of life and become an indigent serf or the planet will cease to support life kinda people, would grow a brain.
The people they're listening to are getting off on the control they allow them to exercise!!
Be awake, not "woke". Woke is just a dogma - ya gotta agree to what they say. Be a free and independent thinker. It's not that hard if ya try.

 

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Greta Thunberg are very concerned that we may be heading for a Seldon Crises. lol
