I think it's normal for people to keep it private, who wants a bunch of two faced people around, or a bunch of crying people at your door, ruining the final hours with the people you love.
Choice is a strange thing to all, but the person that has the right to make the choice...and why not!
As he entered this world and life, so shall he exit, at his own will!

 

He was a very private person, to be fair, he got married in secret and kept it that way for about 4 years If I remember correctly.

its called mortality. people die. i'm 67. people you've never heard of die all the time.
a lot of them are pretty darn good at things you've never heard of or imagined.
or maybe you have, and just don't think about because they're not in the public eye.

 

You’re right it’s good that old people die to make way for future generations, but if someone is taken before their time such as a young child or a public figure it resonates among the populace
