I'm male and uncircumcised and since I was small I simply could NOT stand having my glans (penis head) directly touched. It is so over-sensitive it is actually painful. BUT I've seen many guys in porn (or who are cut) who directly rub and stimulate the head with a lot of pleasure.

I can only masturbate by rubbing my head through my foreskin.

I'm wondering if other uncut guys experience the same?

Also, for girls, I've read / heard that many women cannot stand having the clitoris touched directly, it is simply too sensitive, but that there are other women who go crazy for direct naked-clit stimulation.

What do you prefer? What hurts and what is sexually enjoyable?

I'm circumcised so I really wouldn't know about that one.

But I know when playing with a woman's clit or eating her out many prefer you to play with it or lick it over the hood. Woman have told me it's to sensitive for direct stimilation.

Hmmmm...I love playing with the head using my fingers and lips. Never had a guy say it hurt.

It very much varies per person and per age.

Young guys generally have the glans most of the time covered by the foreskin (if still there...). The glans doesn't get much stimulation and therefore remains very sensitive, like the mucus membrame up your nose; if you (or the MD) manage to touch it, you will get tears in your eyes...

When guys get older at some point they will almost certainly start to masturbate, which will make the glans already somewhat less sensitive.

Also the sensitivity varies per person.

And last but not least in some guys the foreskin will "shrink" (grow less compared to the shaft) in puberty, so they will have their glans for a part or mostly uncovered all of the time. This may be somewhat uncomfortable for a few weeks but quickly adapts to the new situation.

I think in general you can say that most post-puberty guys can handle some touch directly to the glans. If you can't bare any touch there, I think you should really practise. Like deliberately touching the glans or leaving the foreskin retracted behind the glans for some time. I did both and now I can masturbate (myself or done by wife) either "with" or "without" foreskin, which is interesting, because it's a very different kind of sensation. Touching the glans to practise is best done during masturbation, I think, because then you can touch other "bits" of your penis at the same time, which makes the feeling better bearable.

Last but not least, don't be afraid that desensitation of your glans will make your dick less sensitive to sex. The glans has two different sets of nerves, one for sexual stimulation and one for touch. Only the last one is what tends to be oversensitive and it's only that one that will become less sensitive. There is no impact on the sexual sensitivity. The reason why circumcised men (allegedly, I don't have the experience myself) are less sexually sensitive in their dick is because they lack thousands of sexually sensitive nerves in their foreskin, a completely other story.

I think this is the situation. Most women will say they like clitoral stimulation. But most of them actually mean "through the clitoral hood". Just like your foreskin. Having said that, there are always exceptions, just like some men that still have their foresking, like to rub their glans directly.
