Hell yes. I played the hell out of the beta, now I just have to figure out how I can make room for my first semester of college and gaming (at least 80% Halo 3 until the fall release season). New info today: 4 player online co-op. Bungie was practically spreading the idea that it wouldn't have online co-op at all with the tone they were taking on their website, and now this. To everyone trying to make an argument out of this: it's just a matter of taste, come on. I know people who think that Madden games consistently deserve to be called the years' best game, and they're all the fucking same. What makes some people hate turn-based RPGs (or FPSs, RTS's, racers, etc) so much? Get off your high horse, everyone.
fuck playin halo on xbox live is fuckin tite wen your stoned and pigin out on munchies. one of the best things to do man
Halo > Halo 2 Halo was ridiculously great- in its time. But after playing it for six years, it can get boring. Halo 2 was terrible. Online multiplayer isn't bad, but the campaign was horrendous. I'm not getting my hopes up for Halo 3, since Halo 2 was such a let down. But, it's all a matter of opinion, and that was mine.
I used to play halo all the time but then we lost our game and i lost interest but im excited for halo 3. I havnt played in forever but i saw something online about halo 3 and it looked really cool. So as soon as it comes out i am going to the video store and im going to rent it and play all night long.lol.
Halo 2 sucked, halo 1 was great, and halo 3 will be awesome... also mr.greenx killzone sucks, as does ps3...its a $600 piece of shit
anyone feel that the halo 3 multiplayer levels aren't nearly as good as the halo 2 ones? and the new weapons are nothing to get excited about
less of a letdown than halo 2, but still pales in comparison to "real" games. Unreal Tournament is still the best fps multi. Only 16 players in multiplayer?!?!?! Lame.
I agree that there aren't as many levels that stand out, but on the other hand I think most people look at it from a perspective at the end of Halo 2's lifetime. A bunch of the good maps came out as downloads, and Bungie has said they're already well into the process of making new Halo 3 maps. And the weapons? Laser - love it. Spikers - like 'em a lot. Maulers - love em. Turrets/flamethrower/MP - fun. Pistol - I expected better, and they're not even as fun for pistol-only games as in H2. Equipment - awesome. Assault Rifle - I think they finally nailed the starting weapon. I'm sure I'm missing some.
