You say that, yet you told me that my education was worthless. So how can education be worthless if it defeats ignorance?

well you have to keep in mind that tom also has a long history of trolling, and someone's posting history often gets taken into account even on posts that don't necessarily follow their typical standard.

You are in academia.

Academia (academic education) is worthless.

it does FAR more harm than good, simply because it IS politicized (have you even tried to go look at what kinds of grants are successful in your field yet?)

real education, where people actually learn things that are true, instead of things that sound good (or profitable) is a powerful and useful thing.
