I will be on vacay in Cozumel in a week, staying for a week, so plenty of time to enjoy any mind altering substances. Budgeting for this trip, I have allotted $180 for dope, rigs, maybe a bottle of tequila, lol. It's relatively easy to score on the sidewalk near Carlos and Charlies, I have been approached a couple of times with dudes offering girls, dope, whatever, my buddy got some reggie from them last year. They make money off tourists here, it's the main source of income for them, of course. Also, Cozumel has a super low crime rate, I walked around the streets drunk at night last year by myself and I never felt unsafe. What are the prices in Mexico like? I am thinking that they are either the same, or you could get more for less. I plan on bargaining a little. Would like to have: 2 grams to an 8 ball of blow, a small bag of H enough for 3-4 shots, and some speed. My tolerance is low, low, low, I haven't done any dope in about 6 months. Also, I am thinking that the potency is much higher since it's so close to the source, so I would have to do much less? Has anybody else scored south of the border and gotten a good deal?
So you think you can go Mexico when your not brown and be able to safely and cheaply do a bunch of H and meth? You will just haggle and get a good deal, they are nice? You will be lucky if they don't rob or kidnap you. You are not a smart tourist at all.
cozumel is like cancun a tourist city, not sure about the drug scene i went there with my parents on a cruise, be careful dude dont wanna see you on locked up abroad, our constitution and bill of rights do not apply, if u get caught youre fucked, LITERALLY. you dont wanna end up in a mexican prison
I am fully aware of all this. I was there last year, and I scored the bud with my buddy. It was no big deal, and nobody got locked up. The entire economy in Cozumel is based on tourism, I doubt that they want to cause trouble, they just want to make a quick buck. Also, Mexico decriminalized posession of narcotics for personal use, so it's legal for me to use there. I checked into it. I may not be able to get any better of a deal than in the states, but I am still planning on getting high. I will be careful, and if the shit does hit the fan, I have some money to bribe the cops there. I doubt it would ever come to that, but if it does, I'm ready. My buddy got arrested in Rosarito for bud, a few years back and he bribed them, they let him go. So, it comes down to the root, money. If you have money, you are good. I have been to Cozumel before and the Mayan Riviera, and it's chill. I have scored dope in the states in waaay sketchier situations. Prostitution is also legal here, so I am gonna visit the brothel, maybe it will be better to score there than on the street. Also, it's a little different in cozumel. Most of the mony comes from tourists coming off the cruise ships, I talked to some of the street dealers last time I was there, it seems they just wanna make a quick hustle before the tourists get back on the ship and it leaves port in a couple of hours. Also, our SCUBA instructor is also our tour guide, and he is really cool, he knows where to get weed hookers, and whatever else, he is there to make sure we have a good time, he will tell me where I can score blow, and he will tell me if the street dealers are cool, or if it's better to go to a bar and score ther. He will know.

I heard you can walk into pharmacies and basically make small talk with the person working there and if they know you are not police, you can buy any kind of pills you want and its way cheaper than $1./mg like it is here in the US. But if in Mexico, Id want dope, but really any part of mexico is dangerous, especially for white people, they know american white people have more money then they do and kidnappings happen alot, and if no one is willing to pay for your return, you could end up in some field with your head cut off, or thrown into a tub of acid, to get rid of you completely! seriously, be careful!! Regarding the dope, its probably more pure and not been cut much, but they could also rip a white american off too, like selling you a bag of literal brown sugar or a bag of dirt that kinda looks like dope LOL But then again, you could get lucky and make a good connect down there and get a gram for $25. then come back home and charge $150./gram...not a bad profit LOL

People will try and rip you off or give you bad/not legit stuff without you being allowed to check. Remember there all out to make money off the tourists and the easiest way is to rip people off.

A lot of tourists aren't aware of this, but I've bargained before at the brothels. I'm also gonna ask the dude to open the baggie so that I can taste a little yay on my finger to make sure it's good. The H, I'll probably just smell it to make sure it's H. He was cool with us checking out the weed last time. You can also score blow from bartenders and in a lot of the shops, they sell weed, but it's usually full of seeds and pretty crappy. Honestly, it's a very different vibe in Cozumel as opposed to Playa del Carmen, Cancun and the mainland. I'm still gonna play it street smart, of course, but things are pretty laid back in Cozumel. Statistically, the crime rate is near zero there. But, my main focus is going to be on SCUBA diving, because that's what I'm there for, so I plan on not using except for the evenings so that I can dive safely and not be under the influence.

I lived in Mexico for a long time, and I can tell you that most of what you hear about the drug scene there here in the states is absolute nonsense. First of all, you can't walk into a pharmacy and get whatever you want, maybe years ago in border towns, but not now. There are a lot of drugs you can buy over the counter that you need a script for here, but none of them are of much recreational value. As far as illegal drugs, it is VERY difficult to find opiates outside of border towns and Mexico City. Buying from vendors outside of Carlos and Charlie's is fucking stupid. If you don't get ripped off or set-up, the price will be ridiculous and the quality appalling, and even then you'll only find coke, weed, and meth. Opiates just aren't that popular, especially in tourist trap cities. Coke, weed, and meth are absurdly cheap and of great quality (except the weed) of you can befriend a local. Seriously, you shouldn't be paying more than 100-150 pesos (approx $10-15) for a gram of fish scale, fucking blow your mind coke, or the same for a half gram of shards. The idiots that hang out in touristy parts of town will try and charge american prices. Also, while I'm not opposed to bribing the policia, it doesn't always work, and you could end up in much more trouble, if a cop is willing to take a bribe, he'll usually let you know. Mexican prison is no fucking joke. Prostitution is decriminalized, but it's not legal, and STDs among Mexican sex workers are VERY common. You shouldn't be paying anyways, finding a sexual partner in a tourist trap is like shooting fish in a barrel. Also, Mexico is not any more dangerous than the US for travelers or expats, unless you're in a border town or in an area where the cartels are fighting for territory (ie Sinaloa, Nayarit, etc). Travelers are not frequently kidnapped and dissolved in vats of acid, and it certainly doesn't happen to people who don't go looking for trouble. Mexico is a beautiful country full of amazing people and culture, don't act like a typical gringo, and you'll get along just fine.
I know for a fact that getting pills from pharmacies is not easy. Was in TJ and Ensenada at two different times, and went to the pharmacies to check out if it was possible to buy some opiates over the counter. First off the workers at those places are super sketchy and deny being able to sell you anything until you kinda gotta make small talk to get them to ease up and maybe get you some info to buy from them or another place they will sell some vics or norcos. When they do sell them to you the price is absurdly high like $15 for an ES Vicodin. So my experience was not too cool but good luck to ya and let us know if you score some good shit.
Well I did end up scoring it was nalbufin some sort of synthetic opiate and I did manage to find some morphine in the pharmacy as well. Both were for IV use. I also managed to get some yay for about twenty bucks a gram. It was decent. Shot it with the morphine. There is no heroin in Cozumel you gotta go to the mainland for that. The only problem was that I came back I had a full blown addiction again. I have been clean since Final Four but damn it's hard. I want some heroin so bad.
