not all people who go to the gym are doing it for aesthetic purposes. some do it for sports. some do it for strength. some do it just to be healthy. unless you're doing it wrong (some people do, i admit--have rotator cuff problems now from overworking my posterior deltoid and underworking my anterior deltoid...or maybe i got that backwards...in high school), going to a gym is gonna be good rather than bad for your health. any doc will tell you exercise is healthy. and as far as doing it for vain reasons. whatever. i don't see anything wrong with that. i wish i was still obsessed with the gym, honestly. shit's hard to get back into.
