Hey Jake, nice pictures. I really like the silver polish. If I ever did get my toes painted again, I'd try that color!
I'll try to get a pic or 2 to show off my shiny toosies. Yesterday my order from toerings.com came in, and right now I have on my left foot, 2 toe rings, big toe and pinky toe, and on my right i have 3, My 2nd, 3rd and 4th toe. All sterling silver(gold was a bit pricey)...My feet have bling now! Still though, none of my family knows about the polish( i keep socks on when they are in the room) Jack, your toes look awesome! I'll have to put on some pink when I run the 5k for breast cancer here in my state.(did i mention im runner? Pedicures are kind of a must) Im curious about the color titled Day 29 in your link, what color is it, I want to try that one out. I like the blues on your toes as well as the "Who needs a prince" french title. And also, when you say Mixed polishes, did you actually mix 2 or more polishes together?
Another favoring encounter: Today, I got a phone call from a girl at school(very attractive female) she asked me to come over and help with her homework, so i came over, but little did i remember I was wearing flip flops, the french tips, and 5 toe rings upon my arrival to her house. So I walked and her parents are doing the no-shoes thing in the house, so i kicked off my sandals(still wasnt aware of my toes) ran upstairs and about a few minutes later, she noticed something shiny on my feet. she was like "omg, cute toe rings" and she said that my feet looked way better than hers. I was a little embarrassed, cause I havent intentionally showed my friends my pedicure. Anyways, from there I'd say we talked more about our foot attire than we did with the homework lol. Right now though, I hope she doesnt tell any1 at school >.<..My guy friends are what we call "small minded" when it comes to standing out.
I like to paint my toenail as often as I can. I use silver, or gold. Some time blue. On July 4th 2008 I paint my toenail red, white, and blue.
today I ran a few miles to the beach, and as I was walking back, I noticed a guy had light blue toenails. I wanted to compliment him, but by the time I took a second look he was too far away. It was hard to tell, and I wasnt exactly looking down, but the color caught my eye
Tomorrow I'm scheduled for another appointment for a pedi. I think I'm going to give colors a try. At school, I have a friend who has all of her toes painted a different color.(it looks rly nice) I was thinking of having 1 set of toes orange, and the other set of toes black just in time for holloween. Does anyone know if I have to remove my toerings before I go in, or can I still wear them as they do it? I ask because, my toes are already growing around the rings and its hard to pull off without water.
Hey, just got back from the salon(this feels like a regular thing now lol) Turns out, they had special halloween themes going on. They themes for polka dots, plaid and stripes, and one with a lot of glitter(dont think im fond of glitter) So I got the plaid, it looks really fresh. I was told that it was a new style salons are trying to get out there. <-I feel special being part of the new crowd and you guys
double d where do you live? the salons around here would totally freak out of a man asked for color on his toes, in fact the salon i go to i've never even seen a man other than myself getting a pedicure, that being said it's totally cool with the different colors and such, keep us posted.
I'm all the way in Cali from where you are toering guy. I love sharing my toeblog with you guys. Ill keep guys up to date too
The first time I tried to paint my toes red, it took a lot of polish removing from the skin lol. My hands shake when I try to apply to my nails.(this was the reason I really just gave up painting them) Maybe next time I'll ask the nail techs at the salon how to apply nail polish carefully, cause they do a real good job. Still representing the holloween colors on my toes, its keeping its shine. I was told if I want to keep a decent shine on my nails, I should just go over them with some clear polish( 1 thin coat) Thinking about letting my toes breathe on my outting this holloween. I'll act natural at the dinner.
i went back to the french tips again, but frankly its almost too cold outside to even go out with sandals or flips on.
Chicago should be getting cold this time of year. Nice thing about living in SoCAL is it is good sandal weath most all year. I use mostly crome silver, however, I have use metallic blue. I have some bright orange that I plan on putting on for Holloween.
