Hey everyone, I'm a 23-year-old guy from Norway who is thinking about getting dreadlocks. My hair is already on its way past my shoulders, but I have noticed two weird spots with a lot of split ends tangling together. I'm planning on visiting a hairdresser in my city center who is known to be better at dreadlocks than a normal salon, so I will definitely be getting in touch with her over the phone or e-mail. Before I take the plunge into dreadlocks, I wanted to reach out for some advice. What should I do to prepare myself for dreadlocks? Are there any specific things I should look out for? I'm curious about the day-to-day experience of living with dreadlocks. How do you handle washing your hair, sleeping, and other activities with pretty long dreads? Is life the same or do you need to treat your hair differently than before? If anyone has any tips or past threads with good advice on dreadlocks, please feel free to share them with me. I'm excited to hear from others who have experience with dreadlocks and appreciate any insight you can offer. Peace and love to you all!
OMG. The lengths and breadths of HF. I thought that the short stories I sent to Zen were going to blow a few fuses in your server. Have you read War and peace. Perhaps not, I prefer nutty professor to 'banned'
